Dr. Ufir serves as a member of the medical staff at Babyls Demon School. He primarily works with upper-year students, as his Bloodline Magic allows him to quickly identify the cause of an illness and provide effective treatment.
He greatly dislikes Marbas March due to his constant requests to borrow small amounts of poison, though he gets along exceptionally well with Buer Blushenko.
One of Ufir's Bloodline Abilities allows him to diagnose patients through a "monocle" formed with his fingers. Because of this ability, he has been prohibited from approaching Iruma, as there is a risk that he could discover the boy's true nature. Ufir is largely content with this arrangement, since other staff members can handle Iruma's medical care. Nevertheless, the restriction itself irritates him, and he remains curious about the reason behind it.
His son, Umbra Ufir, is currently a second-year student at Babyls. Ufir is divorced from Umbra's mother due to their vastly incompatible personalities.
While Ufir can be unpleasant and difficult to deal with, he rarely resorts to open hostility or direct insults.

Like Atori, Ufir is capable of concealing an additional pair of limbs within his body, a trait stemming from their similar nature. It is also because of this shared nature that he held Atori in particularly high contempt.
