Jessica-Rose Clark takes UD over Paige VanZant.
The Aussie continues to look good at flyweight, this time picking up a win over PVZ in the co-main event of a big FS1 card. While her primary success was getting takedowns and fighting for subs, she was also doing work on the feet. Was landing pretty well with those combos down the stretch. She also had a shit week where someone broke into her house, killed her cat, and stole $30,000 worth of stuff.
PVZ continues to be a good athlete who just seems to have been plopped into the Octagon. She’s just not getting better. Doesn’t help that she apparently broke her arm but she didn’t look any better technically than when we saw her last time. Still going for bad head and arm throws that got her taken down here. Still just kind of floating with her strikes.
