Kimbo Slice, may he rest in peace, has won a MMA fight more recently than Nicholas Robert Diaz.
Niestety powrót nie okazał się zwycięski ale walka była piękna. To była walka w starym dobrym stylu. Liczę na to że to Nick jeszcze zawalczy w oktagonie!
Merab Dvalishvili stops Marlon Moraes in an absolute insane fight
I...wow. Just an insane, honestly negligent amount of damage dealt on both sides in a chaotic mess of a fight.
Marlon Moraes, about half way through the first round, drops Dvalishvili with a left hook. Merab gets up but then proceeds to eat like 20 more left hooks before managing to recover enough to take Moraes down and stall out for the last minute of the round.
Dvalishvili bounces back in the second by dropping Moraes with and overhand right and then proceeding to land something like 150 unanswered punches to a downed Marlon Moraes who to his credit kept finding ways to keep moving and stop the ref from stopping the fight. Eventually Merab gets the riding position and grabs the wrist to get the fight to finally stop.
just crazy
Y’all need to put respect on Alexander Volkanovski’s name cause that man is one of the best fighters on the planet and he might be the smartest fighter in the game right now.
Also, no more Ortega title fights. They’re bad for his health.

Robbie Lawler stops Nick Diaz in the 3rd! TKO.
Not a sad fight but a sad ending. Diaz gets caught with a right hook stepping in and instead of walking into his card, Lawler walks away and tells him to get up. Nick doesn’t. Ref asks him if he can continue and Diaz waves him off. That nose is absolutely broken. Happy Diaz didn’t try to prove himself by standing back up. Collect the check.
Before that though, it was a great fight. Lawler fought the entire thing on the front foot, using his forearms and elbows to deflect punches while Diaz attempted his punches in bunches style approach with his back to the cage. It was a 50/50 fight but it really seemed like Lawler was getting the better of the exchanges. Landed a body kick that devastated Diaz in the 2nd. Diaz shook it off but Lawler went back to it in the 3rd.
Now retire guys.
Dan Hooker takes wide UD over Nasrat Haqparast
Nasrat Haqparast lost the plot in this one. Hooker came out aggressive, walking down Haqparast who acquiesced and let Hooker have his way with him. Hooker then proceeded to pick him apart along the cage for like 11-12 minutes while occasionally scoring takedowns and Haqparast occasionally three a single punch to try and stop the onslaught. If you’re one of the people that believe in the long term potential of Haqparast, that’s got to be a big blow to the confidence.
