Idahhhhooooooooo no, Udaho!  I smile so big when thinking of this trip.  We were in it for the long haul without hesitation. Arriving at our first destination 40 hours sleep deprived, felt like a regular thing, Idaho, being no exception.  Around hours 24 through 26 was a bit rough, but we blame that on the energy drinks.

We had heard the parking at Goldbug Hot Springs was a bit sketchy and there was technically no camping near the springs because it’s private property.  We arrived, knowing we might be hiking out that night, but brought all the gear just incase.  

It’s a surprisingly short hike to strike gold!  To this day, Goldbug is still one of the most gorgeous springs I’ve been too.  Even the main pools have pebble bottoms!  Big deal!  Most springs have 100% organic slime that lines the pool, the pebble bottom helps eleviate this.  You get over the slippery stuff real quick because how awesome everything else it, but it’s a thing.  There were a few unofficial camp sites down from the springs and we snagged one just in time.  The trees weren't hammock appropriate, but we were prepared with a tent just incase.

Shoshone Falls was pretty dry when we stopped off.  It’s probably flowing pretty good about now.  Note: you have to pay to get into the park to see the falls, it’s only a couple bucks. 

Craters of The Moon National Park was a quick run around stop.  Be prepared with a hair tie, it was windy AF.  And those rocks are no joke!
