Lots of people like to "thank" Obama for anything and everything that happens in this country, good or bad. But I truly do have Obama to thank for one of my best friends! Four years ago today, Kendra and I woke up at 5 a.m. and met up to go see Obama speak at Memory Mall for his campaign, but he didn't even show up because of an emergency up north. We didn't really know each other, but we bonded over being in the freezing cold weather so early, watching 1D's lyric video for their new single and finding out we're from the same hometown. Four years later, Obama actually came back, in perfect timing, to UCF in time for our friendaversary! We've been roommates, flatmates, concert and travel buddies. We're crazy with no cares about it, forever and always One Direction fanatics, Styles and Payno, rival-high-school alumnae and best friends. Happy friendaversary to the Styles to my Payno!
