FIRST CLASS - INTRO
Our tutor (Talya) spoke to us in a group discussion on guest speakers. We are doing a brief discussion on what is next so we are able to visualise what we are doing next and what life will look like. We are creating a map of a future “me” of what I am intending to do which at the moment is to travel as a community artist.
Step by step is needed .
Four learning outcomes:
Reflective methodology - Thinking of what I am going to do.
Create and maintain a portfolio/website to document and submit by the end
Locate and justify your own practice via cultural context.
Exhibit your own work (Which is happening )

Portfolio of tasks which will be given in and write a CV and physical/digital portfolio of work (80%)
Research folder! (20%) - Record and document your findings. Record thoughts and opinions in writing.
Tone of Voice (TOV)
I will be creating this re-branding of the Students’ Union in a professional manner and considering the other student’s perspective and the staff at UCBC. This will be carried out in an academic purpose and try to get out more and get a better understanding of what the SU should do and more important the students’ voice which is key in all Union’s across the board. The applied tone of voice is a key aspect to create a better atmosphere here at UCBC. The aim of my re-branding of SU will be recongnised by all. My aim is to win the competition and get Blackburn on the map. To bring the communities together which is another key point to make this University even respectable.
UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSATION (USP)
This new brand for the SU here at UCBC will offer support from a wide range of topics. A new link with student engagement if we can. In the future, this new brand will increase students who are undecided to know where they are going and whether to come to UCBC to see the new brand of our SU and hopefully make their decision to study at UCBC. We need this University stand out and will with a great new look of the SU. My aim is clear to all; that I want the SU to be more recongnisable and more approachable with a new look inside (possibly moved) current SU president has been great and let ‘s get this SU even more higher and be next to the elite of Leeds, Preston, Sheffield and Manchester.

Target Audience (SU)
My target audience is aiming towards any student of any age and students already studying at UCBC or other University and their parents. To reach out that we have a Students’ Union, which offer support throughout the University at Blackburn and help them with your studies. There is a link with student engagement team which needs to be mentioned and noted to all students and newcomers when I write up what I am creating for the re-brand of the SU. We need to stand out and reach to all communities and reach to students with a positive approach. That means go and tell them about their SU with their new brand in place.
