i dont think there are actually any friday the 13th comics that are objectively. good. shocking i know. but i do actually sort of enjoy the jason vs jason x one but like its just because im really interested in how they decided to get them fighting to begin with. half of old jasons brain accidentally gets cloned so we get Classic Jason in the future, but the thing is because jason x was made without that half, and that half was the only part of old jason left, one jason only has the voice of pamela in his head and the other only has the visuals/memories of her. and i guess since theyre cloned from each other they know this since when they run into each other they immediately start trying to kill each other because they want to take the half of their brains with the part of their mother that theyre missing and has been "taken" from them. idk its kind of nothing but pamela and jason makes me sick to my stomach. it still has the usual bloodbath but even with the final girls those characters barely feel like a focus its literally just about jason wanting the memories of his mom back. he finally does and just goes back into the lake its literally all he wanted (oh yeah their stupid horny spaceship crashed so jasons on earth again or something i forget)
i also just like the visuals the gore is obnoxious (shocking i know) but when it comes to the jason stuff mostly its neat. spoiler alert jason x won and shoved brain matter into his head but he sees mama now :) i think i might also enjoy it because a lot of the comics kind of dont really Get jason or at least have him seem like hes actually a character thats an issue in general cuz the thing is that hes a slasher and he just kind of kills people cuz the plot calls for it but i LIKE when we can get a look in his head when we SQUINT i like looking at him under a MICROSCOPE !! but also somehow i enjoyed jason x as a movie while also thinking the shit where jason is like hunted by the government or whoever is fucking stupid so i dont know
