When I was reading the "To your eternity" manga I witnessed some really homophobic comments (for real this mother fucker had a pfp of the rainbow flag being in fire-)
And im hoping to not see this now that season 2 is out
Cause I remember an anime only was like "omg? She says shes in love with him? Dude he's literally an orb!"
Meanwhile the manga readers were claiming that the shape-shifting orb was a cishet guy
(For what is worth he's kinda stealing the clothes here so he's not being honest but he can turn into a girl if he likes so yknow-)
Also about the orb very cisgender guy,
He keeps being like "I can't understand emotions, what is love baby don't hurt me that what is love this I don't think I feel" *usually talking about not understanding romantic love
Like I'm pretty sure this mf is aromantic
And probably asexual, he's like around 2.000 years old in the manga(maybe less or more idk I lost count, he could be 1.000) and has never shown interest in someone
He did have a sex talk with a kid when he was like 50 and 14 mentally but neither of them knew what they were talking about so

Cause there was this guy- who was very much in love with his prince
"The prince is straight! He won't like him ew!" Said the homophobes in the comments
And then it turned out that the guy was just a girl who was fat and the prince accidentally misgendered her so se stuck with being a boy if that would make him happy or something
But then it was revealed and they end up getting married
"See he wasn't fucking gay" said the homophobes once again

I don't know if I like him or fucking hate him- cause he did some fucked up things but out of his whole family I liked him the best
