As Ren readjusted the bag on his shoulder, he thanked the merchant who had helped him pick out the necessary items from the list Harriet had given him for the team. Earlier that day he’d decided he needed some time to himself, a decent break, and some time to think. He was asked to pick some stuff up from the market while he was out, and he acquiesced with a simple nod. He’d walked slowly on his way to the nearest market, which happened to be quite a reasonable distance away from their outer training grounds, and he had much enjoyed that time to his own thoughts.
On his way out, he found himself looking forward to more time to himself, and decided perhaps he would stop and do some quiet meditation. The smallest of self indulgent smiles crossed his features, and he ducked his head as he walked through the crowded street. As people became more few and far between, Ren gave a quick little glance over his shoulder. Paranoia still followed him everywhere, it seemed. His senses had not yet given off any sort of indication that something was wrong, but he kept an eye out nonetheless.
