Hey y’all it’s my favorite day of the week. #TyRexTuesday is a special day for me because it is the day I try to reflect on my craft and see how far I’ve come. But today is extra special because it falls on the very day I came to California 4 years ago on my own pursuit of happiness. I came here with a very vague plan (that did not work out 😂), a few possessions, and like $1500. But I knew that if I left home on faith and hard work I could make a life for myself. Now over the past few months I put more money in a bank account that I don’t touch than I had when I moved here, I build fighter jets for a living, and some people actually think my work is cool enough to pay for it. I am not posting this to brag or anything like that because honestly I have a long way to go to get to where I want to be but I do hope that maybe somebody will see this and be inspired to get out there and make your dreams a reality. I moved here knowing nobody but I have developed some relationships that will last me the rest of my life. I am blessed enough to work for a company I could possibly retire from. And I’m slowly but surely making a name for myself with paint brushes. Everything isn’t perfect but I thank God for being in the position that I am. As long as you pray to whatever it is you believe in and put in the equal work towards what it is you are asking for, you will end up exactly where you want to be. As corny as it is, this life really is what you make of it. I love and appreciate everyone who helps and has helped me on this journey in any way and I am beyond thankful for everyone that prays for me and truly wants to see me succeed. I could type a million words and still never express how grateful I am.
