[ 🧩 ]ㅤ.ㅤwhat’s a truth about themselves they refuse to admit ?
At some point in the not-so-distant future, he's going to be too old to continue the career that has been his driving force for well over a third of his life. He's well aware that he's closing in on forty, but adamantly believes that he will be able to remain in the sport for at least another seven or eight years.
[ 🦇 ]ㅤ.ㅤwhat is a fear they never talk about ?
That people secretly find him annoying, or that he isn't interesting enough. His interests are very niche, and he can be very passionate about them. He is acutely aware that this can come off as being too much, and so he will sometimes adjust intensity accordingly so as not to drive people away.
[ 🌀 ]ㅤ.ㅤdo they have a recurring dream or nightmare ?
Not a recurring dream, per se, but a common theme for him is being out climbing somewhere and moving very, very slowly.
[ 🐾 ]ㅤ.ㅤdo animals like them instinctively ?
Generally, yes. He's a cat guy, so he can win them over pretty easily by scratching in the right place or being a willing pincushion. Dogs like him, too, but he doesn't know very many people who have dogs, so he does not encounter them as often.
[ 🩸 ]ㅤ.ㅤis there something or someone that, if lost, would break them?
If something were to happen and Yao could no longer be an athlete in any capacity, it would take him a very long time to come to terms with such a thing. It might not break him, but it would come close.
