#types of waves

I know there are many types of waves we experience.  You got Microwaves, Ocean waves, even Radio Waves.  I  believe the most important wave is the wave Hello to another human being.  I had someone who I yelled a greeting to respond with his arm remaining at his side, just turned his palm in my direction as his wave.   Really buddy?  What a lame ass effort to reciprocate my warm greeting.  It was a wave to show he'd acknowledge me, but not enough of a wave back so that anyone would know he knew me. (I've been irritated about that wave for days.) Now the hello wave comes in many forms, you got the High-Five greeting, the Fist Bump, the Royal Family classic wave. (The hand kinda cupped and you just twist at the wrist a bit.)  Don' t forget the typical Bye-Bye wave you give a small child.  I am a big fan of the hugely popular Rainbow wave.  I had someone once put his hands behind his back and start looking at the store racks like he didn't see me to avoid the wave. (I had even brushed my teeth that morning.)  He was speechless when I walked up to him and asked what was so interesting about that rack of Maxi Pads?  (I'm sure he liked me even less after that comment.)  I believe in Love, Jesus and Space Aliens, in that order.  But I also believe when a wave is given you are required to return it in some form. (I once or twice received a one finger salute.  It's still better than being ignored.) Hey, thanks for the Hi and #!$* You.     When I receive a friendly wave it's like being gifted with Candy and Balloons.  Not as good as a Bouncy Castle, but really good.   For sure everything costs more these days.  But honestly, the cost of a wave hasn't changed since I was a child.  Plus it only takes one hand, you can still hang onto your phone, a child or even that coffee with the other.  It could affect your texting though.  Sorry.
