     "Yeah, uh--it's not raining or anything. I fell into a fountain."

"Hey, are you alright? Do you need help-- do you need me to call somebody?"

"Hey--s'cuse me, hi sorry, you're over twenty-one, yeah?" He certainly looked... developed. Edgar's head tilted towards the store a few steps down the street as he produced a couple of bills held between his fingers. "Could you get something for me?"

"Hey, uh this is probably weird--but I'm shit at directions, this lady told me that there's supposed to be a Whole Foods right around here, and I can't fuckin' find it, do you know where it is?"

In which Edgar looks rather like a drowned rat. "In case anybody didn't know, it is definitely raining."

    "Forgive me, but might I ask what in heaven's name you are meant to be doing?"

"Are you okay, honey? Do you need a hand?"

In which Steve held out the bottled water for a perfect stranger. "Hope you don't mind me saying so, but you look like you could use this."
