"She's not saying that at all," said Soll desperately. "She's not--"

"If you cut me, do I not bleed?" said Rock.

"No, you don't," said Soll, "but--"

"Ah, yes, but I would. If I had blood, I'd bleed all over the place."

Also my favorite female characters in question:

So, as I mentioned in an earlier post, there is a surprisingly close character design between Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir and Meliodas.

This cinnamon roll is Adrien Agreste:

Specifically, this is his superhero persona Cat Noir (Chat Noir):

And it’s specifically the Cat Noir side I want to focus on, because... this design looks reeeeeeeaaaaaally familiar....

Both tiny white boys have almost identical shaggy blond hair. They both have green eyes. Both are skilled swordsmen. 

They even both have a companion who can float/fly, is seemingly laid-back but actually has devastating power, and is voiced by Max Mittelman.

The biggest similarity, for me, between Cat Noir and Meliodas, however, is their power.

Both men have the intense power to destroy everything around them. They also both have pasts that would normally lead someone with that power towards villainy (especially with how evil both of their fathers are >_> ). Yet both Cat Noir and Meliodas aim to be undoubtedly heroic; caring for humanity in a way that it’s hard to believe they could ever turn against his friends. They would both easily sacrifice themselves for the people they love (and both actually have...).

I’m not 100% convinced that Meliodas isn’t just a high fantasy version of Cat Noir, or Cat isn’t a modern day superhero version of Meliodas.

That would be an interesting crossover....  (In truth, part of me thinks Meliodas is essentially Goku Quantum Leaping into Adrien before being teleported into the world of Liones....)

My point being? That Bryce Papenbrook has found himself into some sort of weirdly specific type casting.
