Here we will be documenting and playing back all of our amazing memories as we embark on our amazing journey.  We’ve decided to run at least 2000km between us over the next 52 weeks to raise money and awareness for Ty Hafan.

So yesterday my Ty Hafan Squad (our support group for the young adults who have graduated Ty Hafan, but are still supported by them) had a sensory session at @ty_hafan and it was GLORIOUS! One of the best bits was @lwzoolabimals and @zoolabuk bringing some beautiful and fascinating animals to our sensory sesh. My personal favourite animal was this gorgeous lil gal, a rat 🐀 Calle Blue (yep, same name as The Boyfriend 😂!). Please enjoy these absolutely adorable photos of Blue being a cutie pie 🥰!! So yesterday my Ty Hafan Squad (our support group for the young adults who have graduated Ty Hafan, but are still supported by them) had a sensory session at @ty_hafan and it was GLORIOUS! One of the best bits was this lovely lady, @lwzoolabimals who works for the awesome @zoolabuk bringing all her pets in 😁. It was really strange, because I’ve actually already met Lucy! She used to work in a pub in Porthcawl that was my family’s regular stop when I was still living with mum and dad in Swansea but had lots of Cardiff hospital appointments. We often used to chat, and bonded over our fondness for blue hair! Seeing her again was fab. She did such a fantastic job introducing us to all her animals, and even at 24 years old I’ve had an education about lots of cool critters! She even used her superpowers, The Puppy Dog Eyes and The Kind Encouragement, to get me to hold a millipede (called Milly!) and a snake 🐍!! I’m feeling very brave after doing so; today’s procedure and appointment should be a cinch in comparison 😂! Anyway, thank you for the great afternoon Lucy!
