Excerpts from a brilliant post S2 fic showing Crowley not to be the wet cat we got in S3.

Crowley had had his heart broken before. It sounded stupid, and he felt stupid about it, but it was true. He had used to think each time that Aziraphale disappeared on him and then eventually returned that his heart broke anew. But soon enough he realized it was the same old hurt, aching still. So he got used to it.

Crowley, after everything, loved him. Of course he did. He always would. It turned out that maybe there were some things that did not change after all. They never even wavered.

This one gif sums up, completely, how I best like to think of Crowley and Aziraphale. Which is a little odd, maybe, considering this footage came from between takes, but to me it encompasses them wonderfully. Crowley bringing joy to Aziraphale simply by being there beside him and saying something which seems absurdly silly at the time but will later make the angel see the world in a new light, through Crowley's lenses. Aziraphale's smile and laughter flooding Crowley's chest with the best feeling he's ever known. And, of course, the Bentley.
