Sai was really trying to behave, but seeing Jeb in his hot goth outfit again made him hiss unintentionally from suppressed tension, frustration and lust - twice...

Jeb felt pressured. He has no idea how and where to draw the line in their physical relationship... And even if he knew, how is he supposed to be able to not overstep it himself? Sai is so hot, and he wants him - but he can't hurt him. Valerian is so fed up with their nonsense. Since he met Jeb, he's trying to bring him and Sai back together again - and back in bed...

And Lunatic suddenly noticing he's standing next to horsanizer Kiri and started prancing nervously. Jack had all hands full keeping him still to dismount. Kiyoshi is so fed up with their nonsense ^^'

And there's a visitor from Chestnut Ridge! Don Gooseman - without Duke, his horse. Maybe Duke just kicked Don off his back again and ran away ^^'

The Boys rode through the pouring rain across the Bridge over to Koh Sahpa. And the horses stopped by a stilt house. Jack: "Are we going to stay here? Woah! When I showed Ji Ho the beach after he arrived we saw a stilt house and we talked about how awesome they are and we asked Arturo if we can buy a lot here to build one..." Vlad: "Arturo told us. Kiyoshi, Jeb and I built it to make it up to you. It's not finished yet. You were only supposed to see it later. " (So that was their secret project!) So Kiyoshi built this house. For Jack. (Even Lunatic is stunned ^w^)

So Jeb built this house. For Saiwa. Sai had put all his hopes in that circuit board because he has no idea how he is supposed to look Jeb in the eyes again after they 'agreed' that Sai should give in to a fake relationship with Kiyoshi to bring him back from the tree. Because they thought Kiyoshi is Saiwa's fated mate. But he wasn't. Saiwa stared into nowhere... Before Sai could follow these thoughts further he got distracted by the noise of the singing birds. Why are they so loud? Bird... (They really are so loud here ö.Ö') He has no idea how to go on.

Vlad: "Look after them and try to finish the rest." (Yeah I know. Who would trust crazy Jack with looking after anyone? Usually he is the one they need to look after and care for. But Vlad trusts him. Because he knows the Jack behind his disorders and antics (and the ones who know adult Jack from our other stories know it too :3) And he knows that he can rely on him when it comes to it.) Jack: "You're leaving? What about the Bond?" Vlad: "Jeb and Kiyoshi need me. They are broken too. I will feel it when it's due to charge the Bond."

Jack: "When you feel it Ji Ho already suffers. He has the deeper connection to the Bond. Don't let him beg for it. The intervals are always the same when you don't use it's magic. Just come here in time and do it." Vlad: "Uhm. Ok." Vlad and his foolish pride and reluctance. Luci had been bolder... And Ji Ho often said that he doesn't mind physical intimacy with Vlad.

Then it was time for Vlad to leave - to look after Jeb and Kiyoshi... He is hesitating.

And Jack took Saiwa inside to give them time to get their stuff together. Oh my, after all they already did with each other they still behave like this...

Vlad: "The Bond. I will be back before..." Ji Ho: "Ok."

They held on to each other a bit longer than usual. Maybe the Bond hates it to see them apart or maybe they will miss each other. Who knows?

Vlad left and Ji Ho went inside. Ji Ho: "Oh. He's already sleeping. I hope he changes his mind about Tiny Can. I could really need some help from a therapist. Even if it's only an AI." Jack: "An AI is even better! He knows everything and is always up to date with the latest research and discoveries! He must have scanned countless articles, diagnoses, therapy approaches, research papers... I'm so ready to try it and get stuff fixed in my furry brain."

They sighed and turned around to take in the view. And just across the river there was the stilt house they had admired a few weeks ago. Just the one Kiyoshi, Vlad and Jeb built is so much more beautiful. Because they built it with love 💞

When Jeb told Sai they needed to talk, Sai thought he was supposed to go upstairs again and listen to the latest troubles of their group. He didn't expect to go on a ride with - worryingly silent - Jeb. What is this all about? Is Ji Ho still missing after he ran away a few hours ago and they have to search for him? But they would have told him if that was the case, right?

Saiwa decided to just wait and see. But then he noticed something odd: "Why are you riding Kiyoshi's horse, by the way?" Jeb: "Eh - Valerian is busy..."

And then Sai noticed them behind the shrubbery in the high grass... Valerian has a date with Lunatic! Jack's horse! Obviously Valerian isn't able to withstand Lunatic's seductive pheromones either... Is it that what Jeb wants to talk about? That he's breaking up with Sai to have a happy Alpha/Alpha/Alpha/Omega Quad with Jack (together with Kiyoshi and Vlad)? Because all the on/off relationship madness with Sai is too much for poor Jeb?

They rode in silence until they reached the waterfall. Such a beautiful place! But the two of them were too deep in thoughts to appreciate the stunning view...

Jeb is so nervous, he's about to throw up. Of course they are here to talk about their relationship. And after how Sai reacted on him riding Kiyoshi's horse and Valerian making out with Lunatic, he has no good feeling - at all.

Saiwa: "So why are we here. In the middle of nowhere? It's about Jack, is it?" Not going well... Sai is so going to tell him to leave him alone - forever.

Jeb: "Eh - let's sit down?" And then he started to cry out of the blue... Sai looked coldly at Jeb. Why is he the one who cries? Maybe he still feels something for him and is sad for the good times they had - but he can't help it? Because Jack's drag is too strong?

Jeb took a deep breath in. He doesn't know what to say. His mind is blank. So he tried to puzzle together what Francine told him: "I'm so sorry what happened." Sai was shocked. Something already happened between Jack and Jeb??? Sai is hitting rock bottom. Hard. He didn't expect that and he's barely keeping up his composure. He took Jeb for granted, treated him bad, kept him waiting in the line for too long and now he lost him. To Jack, of all people! To Jack! Jeb: "I promise I will always support you and be there for you, no matter what. Take all the time you need to heal." No time in all the universe and beyond could heal Sai from loosing Jeb! And he still wants to be around him and 'be there' for him? Jeb: "I should have done better, but I failed you. But - I would do it all over again to - to help." Help? He calls making out with Jack 'helping'? Oh, because he's Jack's Alpha now! He's 'helping' Jack by woohooing him so his heat will stop! OMG! Exactly as Francine told Sai. That's just how Jeb is! He just leaves everything behind to help others. Even him.

Sai heard Jeb continuing to elaborate, but he doesn't listen anymore. Yes, this would make Jeb a great partner for him. Together they could do what's best for the Boys - and their whole community. But obviously Jeb found someone else. Jack, at that! What a nightmare. Sai is going to tell Francine to find a new leader and then he will find a workaround for that weird message from Future Jeb (that they should stay together or something very bad will happen) and leave! Why had Jeb been together with Jack in the future anyway??? Only the two of them and no one else?

He was just about to tell Jeb there's no way he's going to watch the four of them being happy together when he noticed that Jeb had already ran away! Tch! Can't he even spend that much time with Sai to break up with him without missing his precious Jack?

Sai stood there for a good while. Unable to move. Eventually Vlad came. Sai didn't even hear him approaching... Vlad: "What have you done to Jeb? He can't stop crying. Sobbing so hard he can't even talk, let alone breathe properly. What, the hell, happened?" And so Sai told Vlad everything.

Vlad: "Sai, seriously. Have you gone nuts? He took you out here to this utterly beautiful place to ask you if you want him back and to give you any time in the world to heal and all the support you can possibly wish for - and you accuse him to - to... I fail to put it in words!" Sai: "How was I supposed to imagine that?" Vlad: "There was nothing left to your imagination! You should have listened! And understand the words how he said them!" Sai: "He said he helped..." Vlad interrupted him: "... helped Kiyoshi! Out of that damn tree. Just as you helped Kiyoshi!" Sai: "Oh... And he really wants me back?"

They sat on the bank. Vlad: "Do you remember when we met Jeb? When he wore that bag on his head? Because he couldn't bear he failed to rescue those two kids? And how much better he did after he joined us and you two started to date? Jeb is not a weak man. He just cares a lot for those he loves. And he loves you, Sai. More than anything. You already went through the third break-up now. None of them would have been necessary if you only talked to each other - and listened properly!" Vlad was right. Jeb and him spent more time apart than together. Vlad: "Jeb overcame all his fears and obstacles to be a reliable partner for you. But this on/off stuff is breaking him. He fell back in his old behaviour. That's not the confident and strong Jeb he became during the years he spent with us." Sai: "I'm just so worn out. All the stress and worries and hardships all the time around us. I don't feel I have the power to additionally maintain a difficult relationship. We are so different. I just want to go back to Flamingo Island and never leave again." Vlad: "I know I'm the last person to give any relationship advice, but at least listen to what Francine told you. You could accomplish so much together. It wouldn't be an additional burden. He could carry the burden with you. And it would become bearable, maybe even enjoyable, for you, hm? And we already promised you to help. Let us." Sai: "You are right. I'll try..." And again Vlad interrupted him: "No. Try not. Do - or do not." Sai: "Thanks, Vlad. I love you." Vlad: "I know."

After their picknick, they called the horses and showed Ji Ho the surroundings. What a stunning landscape!

Noxee and Greg took a walk at the beach together. Greg drew a heart in the sand and they shared a steamy kiss. After Ji Ho woke up again, Noxee will leave soon and they are making the most of their time together. (The steamy kiss is one of the new romantic interactions from the Lovestruck EP)

Poor Jack wishes he could unsee it. He hates Greg. And he hates that this beast kisses his precious Noxee. Ach - he feels like he's cursed. There's no love for him and Noxee, no love for him and Kiyoshi and neither for him and Lou... It had started so promising with Lou, though. Two of his painful spots had already vanished - and then he's together with Caleb?! Gods! Did Jack interpret the signs from Lou all wrong? Plus: Lou 'only' was an NPC in a game - his therapy game, at that. Sai never gets tired of telling him this. But what was the lesson for him to learn then? That there's no love for him? That he should start a new life after his ingame death and do better? And now he isn't even allowed to be 'just mates' with Kiyoshi... Jack sighed.

The moon was rising above the ocean when they returned to Verdantis. They cared for the animals and went over to the Screaming Mandrake, since Jeb needed to talk to them.

Jeb told them how much he worries about Kiyoshi and how hard it had been to keep him by his side - and from going back into the tree again - during the time Jack left and lived at the beach house. And how much Kiyoshi prospered after Jack came back. That the periods where he was able to be in the here-and-now prolonged. And that he even started to talk. Saiwa still can't believe that Jack - for once - is not causing trouble but even is of a greater use ^^': "Do you really think it's because of Jack?" But Vlad also agreed. He'd seen first hand how far Kiyoshi drifted away again after Jack had left.

Noxee knows how much Sai worries about Jack, he's like a younger brother to him and they'd been to hell and back together. And she still remembers how broken Jack was when he decided to finally end his relationhip with Kiyoshi. But is it fair to sacrifice the wellbeing of Kiyoshi to protect Jack from a potential harm? Jeb: "I don't want to push it on you, Jack. You're all grown up, but still vulnerable and I don't want you to fall back again." Poor Saiwa feels like he's caught in a very unpleasant dream. Between protecting Jack and letting him go living his own life and making his own decisions...

Jack: "I mean, it's not like I want to go back where we've been. Like, never. I just really like Kiyoshi and I want him to feel better - I want to help him. I did my part too to ruin our relationship. I see that. But Sai, you can't protect me from everything out there in this wild world. Where will it end? I know I have my issues, but I think I also proofed that I evolved and learned, hm?" Saiwa is still not convinced: "You wanted a relationship with a non-existant person, Jack." Jack: "Who says Lou doesn't exist? He was aware, intelligent and sensitive. All this and more. And this makes him a person. He just wasn't in our reality." Noxee is bringing them back to topic again: "If you think it's ok for you, Jack, I will talk to Rita. We could at least try to confirm that you really have a good influence on Kiyoshi. Even she must see that it's of no help for anyone when he's in a state like this. Jeb is right. He's surely not happy. And when he has one of his brighter days again, he can go meet her and speak for himself, hm?"

Isn't it funny that in our reality, Kiyoshi would be considered even more crazy than Jack? ^^' A guy who isn't responsive most of the time and claims to be a demon/minor deity o.o

It's already late and Noxee took them to the yard for their Yoga/Tantra practise. And to teach them a few more poses before she leaves.

Jack and Sai are stunned how flexible Noxee is ö.Ö' But they are all doing so well after practising for so many months now.

As soon as they returned from their ride-out and dismounted, the horses immediately fell asleep ö.ö (Yang Mal sleeps standing ^^') Why are they so tired all the time? They live in another household and they can sleep whenever they want to. But no. Sometimes they even force the rider to dismount because they want to sleep - in the middle of the day -.-

Before I can take fancy we-perfectly-ride-in-a-group screenshots of them I get a lot of this ^^' I have no idea why these horses are always so tired... Then they dismount and the horses sleep omg. In the middle of the day. I lived in the countryside for so long but I never saw a horse sleep during the day -.-

When Jack and Saiwa crossed the bridge, Lunatic became aware of where they were and bucked.

Jack: "Lunatic! What's wrong?"

Tyalindo: 'Omg! Was it here where you have been attacked by the giant rat and the werewolf?' Lunatic: 'Yes!'

Jack: "Don't worry Lunatic. We are here. We will protect you. Look, this Lady here was able to pass unscathed!" Lady: ö.Ö'

Jack: "OMG! This is Rory Oaklow! And we are in their territory! She will make mincemeat out of us!" Saiwa hisses.

Lunatic: 'She comes directly towards us!'

Tyalindo: 'Leave Jack alone!'

But Rory walked right past them and - vanished? And then Lou Howell approached and vanished too. Right in front of their very eyes.

Tyalindo: 'What is going on here?' Jack: "I don't know. We had this happen behind the Tavern at Mount Komorebi too. This is so disturbing!"

They ran back to the safe Bunker. Jack: "Lunatic! Wait for us!"

Lunatic: 'Quick! Close the gate!'

Little Goat: 'What happened?' Lunatic: 'Werewolves attacked us! And then they vanished into nowhere!' Little Goat: 'But it is good they vanished, isn't it?' Lunatic: 'No! It is scary! When they can disappear into nowhere - they can appear out of nowhere!' Little Goat: 'OMG! Then it makes no sense to close the gate! They can appear anywhere!' Lunatic: 'OMG!'

And even worse than werewolves and giant rats: The feeder is empty!

A new episode of The Stables (our spin-off about the Boys' horses) took place! The last one is over a half year ago! And it's been a while since we had all the horses together in one place.

While Ji Ho took a swim in the river, Vlad was trying to stop him: "Be careful!" Tch, if Vlad really 'cared' about him, he wouldn't have ditched him for Kiyoshi! (Yes, you are so brave, Superhorse Yang Mal! Too bad they can't swim for real, but Valerian once ran in the ocean at Sulani the other day.)

When Ji Ho stepped out of the water, he couldn't believe his eyes! Kiyoshi was hitting on Jack and Saiwa and Jeb were kissing? He thought they were supposed to keep their distance to Lothario Kiyoshi! And why did Saiwa not stop Kiyoshi (to protect Jack from him, as promised) and gets so distracted by Jeb, who hurt him so much by cheating on him with Vlad?! Plus - he thought Jeb and Jack had something going on! Jeb even wanted to marry Jack!

"What are you all doing?!" Ji Ho yelled at them. Jack rose in shock: "What am I doing! Was he seducing me? Leave me alone, cheater! And what are you doing, Jeb? And you, making out with your ex, Saiwa. You told me it is over! Both of you! I was so close trusting you, Jeb!" Saiwa: "Oh no, what have I done! I'm so sorry, Jack. I was out of my mind. I failed you."

Jeb: "Saiwa, we need to talk..." Saiwa: "There's nothing more to say, Jeb."

They argued back and forth... (Isn't this amazing how much character and expressions the horses have? They are so well done <3)

Vlad said nothing, he just sighed. Did he held his hopes too high that Kiyoshi would choose him over all his other affairs? He must hurt too... And stupid Ji Ho still feels for Vlad, after all that has happened... He'd even begged Kiyoshi to not steal Vlad from him, in vain. And Ji Ho also knows how irresistable Kiyoshi is.

Jeb to Kiyoshi: "I told you to leave Jack alone and not to play with him!" Kiyoshi: "You're one to talk, you just hurt him more than I ever could."

Saiwa has enough of this charade: "We're leaving! Come on, Jack!" Kiyoshi to Jack: "Jack, come with me. I'll take good care of you." Jack: "What? No!" Jeb is leaving too, he needs time to think.

Even the birds are so done with them! hahaha
