So, this is the second Deadstar technically. Essentially Twogami “Deadstar” was a loner with no name. Original Deadstar was a super war hungry cat who was abusive to their clan. That original Deadstar ended up going through their nine lives super fast, and died at the ‘dead of night’ (Tfw your name is foreshadowing) with no one around. Most likely traveling alone to go to the Moonpool/Moonstone (I don’t know in this AU what the sacred StarClan communication area is going to be called) or something. Original Deadstar was a brash cat, and even if they had multiple lives left, a severe wound could have took the remaining. Original Deadstar also had a lot of stars, but the fur and leader lives healed a lot of them- leaving them look less similar to their battle-scarred clanmates. Anyway, Twogami “Deadstar” finds the cat and buries him. Out of a respect for another cat and also to not attract predators. However, stumbling on PineClan nearby, everyone assumes this is their leader. Twogami “Deadstar” just kind of rolls with it and starts committing identity fraud. They don’t know much about clan life, but they start to reform the clan from a fake leader position while hiding the truth from their new clanmates. They also avoid talking to StarClan at the Moonpool/Moonstone, which perplexes the deputy and medicine cats. If Twogami “Deadstar” had to have their own Warrior name, it’d be Twomask.
