         she’s heaving the duffel bag onto the wooden floor once stepping over the threshold of his home; ( given they used to do it so often to her o w n home, it’s only fair she reciprocates. ) a call would of been made to let the male know her presence would be returning, but where would the fun be in that? it has been nearly a year now ----- she loves SURPRISES.

chocolate hues widen in almost shock, even though his words were something she knew all too well already, they had dated for so long that it was pretty much a GIVEN. she would be exactly the same if he were put in a situation where his life was in danger, she would do anything to help, and she would literally be tearing herself apart to keep him safe. ( but lets be fair, when wasn’t scott mccall putting himself in danger? it was pretty much a day to day regular thing right about now. ) a smile lifted at the corner of her lips, one that echoed pure gratitude, and understanding and she leaned over, taking his hand in her own, as an act of comfort to put his mind at ease. their eyes met like they had so many times before, and she felt herself falling deeper, surrounded by the never ending amount of love that he gave her, paired with the love she truly had for him. scott mccall was too pure for this world, and she honestly couldn’t believe how lucky she was to be able to call him her boyfriend. when she spoke up, there was an utmost amount of certainty in her voice, so much so that it showed she truly believed in their situation and her words. 

“ scott, everything is going to be fine, i can take care of myself. we always figure it out. i’m NOT going anywhere, i promise.”
