I’m currently working on the 2k celebration fic, Fear Me, Love Me (a Labyrinth AU starring Jareth!Rafayel) but here is a very small tidbit from the beginning :)

For a beat, nothing happened, and you chided yourself for holding any hope.

Thunder crashed outside, lightning filling the room.

The lights flickered off.

A chill overtook you, sending tremors down your spine.

"Well, isn't this interesting," a low voice hummed from behind.

You spun around, heart pounding. There wasn't a soul in sight, and yet a warmth lingered just in front of you.

"Looking for someone?" There it was again, low and melodic. Heat brushed your ear.
