Octavia has literally called Charctavia “Two Serpents” and if that’s not my new brotp than idk what is

Lalique’s use of fighting snakes as guardians for the contents of a purse references not only the temptation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, but the general mood of titillation that was central to Art Nouveau. The work’s realism is underscored by the slippery-looking snake skins embroidered into the bag’s surface with silver thread.

meta why diyoza was helping octavia?
As she said herself, she’s “been there.” I think Diyoza, as someone who was hunted by the whole world and ended up in history books, understands Octavia and doesn’t care if about 1000 people don’t really like her at the moment.
I also think that she has a mother’s sense. With Hope, imagining future Earth with Kane and all that, we see this side of her. Not to mention that she, survivor of all, “mass murderer” went into the anomaly because her not existing daughter did. I call that a mother’s instinct.
Maybe it’s also the fact that Diyoza had no one around her, too. Just like Octavia she was lonely in her leadership. Both experienced the consequences of such thing. Maybe there were people around them, their people, but they’ve been closed/forced to be closed on others to really take it off them.
They are both hated by everyone and both are the serpents of their previous garden. Diyoza might have felt accompanied by Octavia and maybe she felt more useful by helping her. With a meaning.
We always knew that Diyoza was really badass, but in this ep, they deliberately showed us her hand-to-hand fighting skills. Do you think there's a chance that we might see her and O fighting physically?
I guess there’s a chance of that. It’s interesting though that, while they set Diyoza and Octavia up against each other, the real conflict has been between Bellamy and Octavia and Octavia and Clarke and Clarke and Bellamy.
Well. Not just interesting. The point of the whole show, hmm?
Okay theory time: am i the only one who has the feeling that Bellamy and Clarke together are going to be able to get a deal with Charmaine next ep to open the bunker and live in peace but then Octavia will come out and be like: hahah, no bitches, let's get to war and everything goes to shit?
With McCreary sitting on her shoulder? No, I don’t think so. All she knows is war. I think she might get there in time, but I don’t think it will be so easy on her side, not yet.
Zeke and Raven will be playing a game of long distance cat and mouse while trying to get control of the sleeping army. I think that will be ep 4.That’s not a happy lets-all-live-together alliance.
I’ve got a pet theory that our delinquents will steal the earth mover gun and open the bunker without getting an alliance.
Charmaine will see that seething mass of Mad Max gladiators come out and freak out and go, well we need our army. McCreary and Shaw, you go get them. They’ll take the shuttle up, capture Raven and Murphy, (zeke and raven meet) but this also gets them back to earth, because that gives Charmaine leverage on Bellamy and Clarke and she can’t leave them up on The Eligius.
I’m not blaming this war on Octavia. It’s an all hands on deck kind of war.
Charmaine’s first move when she found a village was to do what?
Invade it, search it, and take it. She said, hey when the fascist government did that to me, I got blood for blood. That was a call back to the grounders philosophy incase you missed it. She knows what she is doing.
This is not a peaceful person.
People are like, oh Clarke shot first.
What is an invasion? And she didn’t shoot until the dude had captured Madi and threatened to shoot her in the leg.
I like Charmaine, but no. She’s not peaceful. She’s a warmonger.
