We've known it was coming for quite some time now, the end was upon us.

For days the sky had been getting brighter, the days warmer, night was gone.

State of emergency was the only screen on the tv, told to run lol but to where as no one could tell us.

The sun was growing ever closer, we felt as if we were melting frim the inside out.

Sweat no longer even existed, our bodies burning as our waking minds could feel it all.

There was no shade, there was no shadow there was only light blinding burning ever present light.

If you dared to look you could watch the ozone sizzling off our planet evaporating into space.

Those who watched the stars said the moon was also burning turning into a blackened satellite no longer being able to circle us.

I can't recall any more the last time I watched the sun set, yet I will forever as long as I live my final moment's retain the knowledge of this my final sun rise...
