Harris Phest, an Annual Celebration of Harris Wittels, Started by His Sister, Will Take Place on 4/20
There will be plenty of things for people all over the country to do on 4/20.
May we suggest, if you’re in or around Houston, TX going to the very 1st Annual Harris Phest, a celebration put together by Harris’ sister Stephanie Wittels Wachs of the late Harris Wittels, at 8th Wonder Brewery.
There will be presenting the best Parks and Rec scenes written by Harris, a reading of some of his best tweets, a performance from a Phish cover band, A Live One, and a live stand-up show. It’s as Wittels as you can get pretty much.
Proceeds from the show will go to benefit the Harris Wittels Fund at High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston.

Harris.
It was so sad knowing that he was going to be in it.... Then I saw him and the sadness got worse... but the immediate laughter I got from the picture they chose that just is Harris made it okay again. I miss him and I know he's humblebragging the SHIT out of that picture right now.
I haven't talked about it here, but god damn am I sad about Harris Wittels. I've been a fan of his since... 2010? 11? An incredible conversational comedian and a wonderful complement to Scott Aukerman. It's not too late to appreciate every aspect of his comedy. Watch Parks and Rec, listen to his CBB episodes, drink in Analyze Phish. I love you, Wittels.
