Hi!! I’ve been binge reading your Sam fics and your Sam rewrite (which is great btw) but I was just wondering… how do you imagine reader dressing? I just wonder if she matches Sam’s vibe.
Ahh thank you I’m happy you enjoy them. This is a really good question. Technically how she dresses is up to your interpretation, however while I haven’t directly written it into the fic i image her as really into fashion. Like she can throw an outfit together pretty well. Keep in mind she is young and living in the 2000’s so there’s slightly cropped shirts (not all the time) and a skirt here and there AND she’s working a pretty demanding job that doesn’t really allow her to venture out so she’s pretty limited.
Also she grew up around mostly men. (Sam, dean, Bobby, john) the only woman in her life was her mom and she couldn’t care less about clothes so she grew up with cheap clothes from thrift stores. But when she was away from hunting i think she found herself trying to find what she liked and who she was so that includes clothing.
I do think she matches Sam’s vibe just a little bit in terms of color schemes, i dont see her layering like crazy because i think her choice of shirt would be the staple in her wardrobe and everything else accentuates her outfit like jacket, hair, jewelry, and bag if she sees fit. I think her choice of shoe would be anything that she could run in, so maybe no high heels.
