I'm doing the 100 Day Project this year. My first year. I've done challenges like this before, and they usually either break me or I become so completely focused that I don't have the brain room for other projects. So I decided if I was going to do this, it was going to be as a small, quick warm up activity. I chose twinchies (2" squares).
I made a little spiral bound book and plotted out all the squares on the pages. I decorated the pages a bit with ink and stamps just to banish the white space that can be intimidating.
My first page of 6 squares was completed this morning. Having this as a daily wake up/warm up has actually sorted out my lacking motivation...I'm not procrastinating on the pc every morning, researching, inspo searching or overthinking myself into apathy. I spend maybe 10 minutes on a little square....no second-guessing if it's good enough or if it's "real art"...just doing the thing. And that thing leads to something else. And that creative train keeps going.
I'm also doing 100 days of digital papers...created on my iPad using Procreate, but that's a different share for another day.
