Some projects I wrapped up this week.
First, my 100 Day Project from last year. Yikes. I really fell off with this one, but I kept it in my working journal bin to remind myself to finish it. Only took....265 extra days. 🙄
So, for the project, I was doing 2 inch square individual collages (twinchies, if you're an old card-making hag like myself). To finally get me to the finish line these last couple of months, I just did whole pages as a set. First one is mosaics using off-cuts from masterboards, second is wonky assembled targets and last is a garden of famous ladies.
Next project was my dailies journal. I've been working in it since last July. This is my version of a junk journal: kind of a scrapbook of personal stuff, ephemera from life and analog Pinterest board all in a little notebook. I'm not an avid junk paper collector and I prefer working in small, short books. I mean, this was only like 30 pages and took me a year. Big, bulging journals aren't for me.
For the last spread, I documented my first ever playthrough of a pc game. I never imagined myself playing a pc game (to completion even) but Trash Goblin called to me...and at the time, it was free, so fuck yeah, lemme at it. I didn't know what to do with the page next to it, but I remembered I had a stack of envelopes from recent ATC trades I needed to do something with....so I tore off the stamps and filled the page.
Ta-da! Done with 2 projects in one week!
