Prince has a way of trying to take what other people do well - point out his many hypocrisies - but then he tries to employ the method while blatantly ignoring the rules for how to use it.

For example, I've accused some of he and his buddies of infiltrating my inbox back in the day. But I did that knowing they have a very distinct way of talking. Pew sees this, and instead of actually thinking about who it could be, he just knows its someone who doesn't like him (not the shortest list, bud) and he strikes.

I've written 21 Articles and went to events all over LA for the last 2 weeks. Before that was prep. I haven't thought about Prince or really even Tumblr. Also, Prince knows good and well that if I were to be anon that I'll sign my asks.

So why would he do this? Because he knows I'm a defender of fandom. And when they go off the rails like this and start attacking fandom as a whole more than likely I'm going to say something about it.

But what he's failed to notice is that I've figured out that by reblogging I'm just spreading his nonsense. And so. I don't really operate like that anymore. I'd rather talk to the person in their sights and let them know they're not alone and they don't have to take your crap. You blindside these newbies thinking your aggression will make them love Scott and all it does is show that y'all don't really have any friends or meaningful relationships yourself.

Lastly, Prince trying to act like all fanfic has to be canon is canon in and of itself. Literally in the same paragraph he says people can write fae Stiles and he has the right to criticize it. Also, he's legit said and endorsed others saying that if Scott isn't the main character and sure they've worked out a mathematical percentage of how much makes you not racist. God forbid you have any racial identifiers though, bc then you're stereotyping and that's racist. Scott being white-washed is enough, as long as it's Scott. And no you big sillies, other characters don't count. How dare you write about Boyd or Mason and think that doesn't make you racist! Were they worshipping Scott there? I didn't think so! Ya racist!

Lastly lastly (Ms. Jackson if you're nasty), this idea that Pew doesn't have to tag anti-Stiles bc the Stiles we like isn't the real Stiles is bunk bc a) then why are you talking about him?, and b) if it's not Stiles then why are you using the Stiles tag to begin with? I don't tag my post Pew and then talk about what a sane rational person you are. If it's not Stiles then don't tag it Stiles, simple as that.

But then I guess even fewer people would read your stuff and god forbid you not get your attention high.

I'm not one to be like "get a hobby" or den be like "you're too old for this" but seriously, get a hobby, dude, you're too old for this.

I can link you to dozens of under-researched posts that villify or patronize black and POC fandom and you call it activism when really it’s supremacy and bullying. 

@auriette did the EXACT right thing and that was to be an ally. So maybe go and lecture your white friends about the way they interact with POC fandom?!?! 

Go tell @liliaeth to retract her racist statement and dehumanization of Tamir Rice to bash a fandom fave. Go talk to @nyxelestia about writing a million think pieces on the entire two incidents someone on anon went after her and then attributed the behavior to the entire fandom ALL BECAUSE PEOPLE QUESTIONED HER FIC. Go talk to @princeescaluswords who claimed he didn’t even like Scott McCall but he just hated racism which he was JUST learning about because he’s been a sheltered white manfor the last 50 yars!.

TELL HIM THAT WE ARE NOT HIS TRAINING GROUND. 

Go tell @russiangeckospacesexparty to stop being a blatant troll and dramamonger, Go tell @brydeswhale that their pain is noted, but they make enemies out of allies by not cosigning blatant bullying. Tell @fanfictionfridge that pretending to be a fan while hating every facet of the character or the fandom means they’re not a fan no matter how much they reblog and also, no one is going to you as a source for sterek content, like what? Tell @clotpolesonly that her being the “good sterek” is a ruse and they hate and trash her just as much as they do the rest of us. 

When you vilify fandom for not liking your fave you are insulting countless people of color in the process. Don’t get it twisted that it’s just me. Not to mention the hoards of disenfranchised and marginalized whites who have sought to bring diversity to Teen Wolf by learning and asking people of color how to do so. 

All you do is tear people down over a character that is not representative of the kind of behavior you portray. You make him into an impossible model minority and get mad when others don’t recognize the inscrutable blob you’ve molded. 

The most troubling thing of all is all of this hyperbolic false rhetoric against Scott McCall takes away from the real conversations of racism towards the POC characters on the show (and by the show again Tyler Posey which you all refuse to acknowledge because it doesn’t place the blame on the fans) and it makes it so there’s limited dialog about how to REALLY FIX IT within our fandom. 

IT DOES NOT GET FIXED BY PRAISING “BROWN BOY” SCOTT MCCALL and that’s the most racist thing y’all perpetuate. 

There is progress when it comes to battling racism within our community and fandom and creators are open to receiving criticism and insight on how to better themselves. They’re resistant to ad hominem attacks on their character from someone they don’t know and who doesn’t even have a base level of respect for them. They deserve a chance to be better before covering them in sh*t and setting them on fire. Especially because many are disabled, lgbtq+ or have other maladies that make them an “other”. They are inclined to be more open and accepting and you’d rather burn our fandom than try to nurture it and grow? 

Yeah, you guys really care about racism but you care more about ego and power. 

You’re liars, you’re cowards and you’re obvious. Your platform is built on sand and soon people will see you for the grossly racist supremacists you are.

The nights before they parted ways were always rough.

Because some of you have trouble coming up with words to call people you don’t like besides ‘psycho’ and ‘messed up in the head’, have a Shakespeare Insult Kit I found on Google Images. Or if you just like to call people weird things.

I’ve said this before, but every once in a while, there seems to be a resurgence of bullshit from Anti-Stereks that feel as though the Sterek Fandom is responsible for making non-Sterek related fanwork so that other ships/pairings/characters don’t feel left out.

That’s bullshit.

For years, the Sterek fandom was hounded by bullies who wanted nothing to do with our existence. We were told to leave the Teen Wolf fandom. We were told to stop watching the show. We were made to feel unwelcome by the show, by fellow fans, and by actual actors from the show. In response, The Sterek Fandom decided to detach ourselves from the Teen Wolf Fandom and become a fandom of our own. 

We decided to write Sterek fanfiction. We decided to plan Sterek-related events and themed Sterek Weeks. We decided to create Sterek fanwork. I’ve seen books, calendars, t-shirts, posters, playing cards, holiday cards, blankets, pillows, comic books, keychains, coffee mugs, etc... The Sterek Fandom built itself into something for Sterek fans to enjoy, so that we didn’t have to feel unwelcome and suffer through endless torment from people that hated us because we shipped Sterek.

But despite not even being connected to the main fandom of the show anymore, and despite most of us no longer watching the show, and despite Stiles & Derek not existing within the show itself anymore, The Sterek Fandom STILL receives butthurt messages and posts from Anti-Sterekers, who have become so lost inside of their own bitterness that they lash out in jealously over Sterek’s continued thriving existence.

The idea that Sterek fans need to write fanfic about anything other than Sterek is bullshit. The idea that Sterek fans need to focus on characters other than Derek Hale and/or Stiles Stilinski is bullshit. The idea that Sterek fans are “racist” for writing fanfiction about Stiles Stilinski/Derek Hale but not also worshiping Scott McCall in the same breath is fucking ridiculous, trivial, and an insulting mockery of what racism actually means.

It should be common sense, but how many times do Sterek fans need to remind people that Sterek Fanfiction is always about Sterek? If any other pairings or relationships or characters are mentioned, they’re going to take a backseat and/or not even be mentioned at all because the fanfiction is about Sterek. Written by Sterek shippers. Posted by a Sterek shipper. For the Sterek Fandom.

Recently, I have read through some of the dumbest arguments about why “Sterek fans need to be required to write about other ships, other characters, and make fanwork about things other than Sterek”. I’ve seen Anti-Sterekers, people who have spent countless hours bullying/harassing Sterek shippers, actually try to play the argument that since Sterek is so popular, we should have to write fics so that less popular ships can also thrive.

Again, bullshit. 

This isn’t political. This isn’t some sort of “the rich should have to share their wealth with the oppressed minorities”. This has absolutely nothing to do with things like oppressed vs. the oppressors. This is about a fandom NOT having to spend their free-time making things about something other than their fandom. 

Let it be known. The Sterek Fandom  ≠ The Teen Wolf Fandom. We haven’t been connected to the Teen Wolf fandom for years and we’ve thrived because of it. We don’t have to weigh ourselves down with threatening and cruel remarks because we ship something so much bigger than the show itself. But even if we were still connected to the Teen Wolf Fandom, The Stereks STILL don’t have to push out Non-Sterek fanwork for other people. 

Fanwork is created out of the time and talent of fans. Sterek fans have their lives, and they use their precious free-time to write, draw, design, and create what they want to add to all of the other beautiful Sterek fanwork. We don’t need to create anything other than Sterek-related material. And we especially don’t have to create anything for people who bullied us and made us feel low because we shipped Sterek and didn’t want to pay attention to some of the boring elements and characters that existed in the show. 

The Sterek Fandom currently has 46,144 fanworks on Archive of our Own. We didn’t get to this monumental amount of beautiful work because we complained to people and forced them to write fanfic for us. We took the time, put in the effort, sat through the editing, the planning, fleshed out our visions, and made something for ourselves (first and foremost) and also for our fellow Sterek fans to enjoy.

I’ve seen the arguments that Sterek fanfics should have to include Scott McCall as a main character because he’s the titular character of the show. I’ve seen arguments that Sciles/Skittles (Scott McCall/Stiles Stilinski) is a better ship than Sterek. I’ve seen arguments that Scerek (Scott McCall/Derek Hale) is a better ship than Sterek. These are nothing more than mere opinions that make some Sciles/Scerek/Scott/Anti-Sterek stans feel as though the Sterek Fandom owes them something in return.

We don’t. We never will. 

At the present moment, Sciles has 2,821 fanworks on Ao3. Scerek has 748 fanworks. Honestly, I have one single word to say to Sciles/Scerek fans that feel underwhelmed by the amount of fanfics available and have turned to shaming Stereks because you think it’ll get us to write you fanfic...

Work.

Sterek fans worked. We spent time, energy, and talent for days, weeks, months, and years to built the massive amount of glorious Sterek fanfics that we have now. We didn’t start with 46,144 fics. We started at ZERO. At one point in time, years & years ago, we also had 2,821 fics. Even more long ago, we had 748 fics. But we kept working. We kept creating. We kept writing. 

It’s honestly up to you guys to write for yourselves. Sterek fans owe you nothing in return. Though, there are some very nice Sterek fans that frequently take prompts and spend their time writing things that don’t necessary line up with their usual work. Sometimes they write Sciles or Scerek. But Sterek shippers don’t have a debt to pay back to bullies and people who think they deserve something for nothing. 

To Sterek Shippers: You don’t need to write anything other than Sterek if you don’t want to. You don’t need to create fanwork for anything other than Sterek is you don’t wish to. Don’t let vicious bullies try to guilt you into doing what you don’t have to do. Keep writing & don’t feel discouraged.

To Anti-Sterekers that feel as though Sterek shippers owe you and your favorite pairings/characters something: Put in some of your time and start writing for yourself. If there’s a prompt out there that you want to see done for your favorite ship, write it yourself. If you feel as though there’s not enough fics out there about how “great” Scott McCall, write it for yourself. If you think Sciles/Scerek are more interesting than Sterek, then write it for yourself.

Sterek fans don’t owe anything to anybody. The Sterek Fandom is NOT part of the Teen Wolf Fandom. Sterek started back in 2011. The ship name is the combination of the names Stiles Stilinski & Derek Hale, two characters who don’t even exist on the show anymore. You shouldn’t be surprised when a Sterek fanfic focuses on Sterek. 

In closing,

Sterek is eternal. We write for ourselves and for our ship, not because you think that you control our creativity and time. The show that introduced us to the characters of Stiles & Derek might be ending, but the Sterek fandom continues to cherish the characters and the ship.

I know camelotpark is still stewing because he knows what he and his bully friends do is racism.

He gets so out of shape about dehumanizing Scott McCall and then dehumanizes every other person of color on the show by not advocating for them at the same rate. He also dehumanizes the POC fandom for not agreeing with him on his wild opinions.

Dehumanization is about the way you TREAT people. Refusing dialog, blocking en masse while spreading lies and mistruths is dehumanization.

They're all hypocritical and guilty and the more they realize it the more they stubbornly retreat to their bunkers to convince themselves they're right.

I will not allow them to use racism against me when they wield it so brazenly. Especially the white ones who think they're cute knowing they're condescending to people of color like we don't recognize racism.

This fandom would be better if everyone minded their own business but since they can't do that and have anointed themselves fandom police, here we are.

Here's what we're not gonna do.

Try and hypocritically twist scerek or Scott/Papa Hale into a disturbing underage fic because it's not (the scerek at least, but Scott's 18, he can get an older daddy if he wants).

The ships are not pedophilic, not even the teenage one that I can't remember how to spell.

Scerek is a valid ship, I just don't personally like it and find it gross in the same way I don't like Sceo.

Regardless, the issue isn't the ships it's that rsgsp is a troll and will call us dangerous from one side of his mouth while jerking off over Scetwr from the other.

And he knows that and he does it on purpose just to piss us off. Which is why I stop dealing with him and I suggest you do too. He's looking to start fires, he doesn't actually care about Scott, or Teen Wolf.

It's also why I stopped engaging with PEW and why I side eye his motives. Because he knows rgssp is a hypocrite to and he still engages.
