I can dream of becoming a 🚀 scientist all I want, but it’s only going to be a pipe-dream and unlikely to happen. I am not built for it, I don’t have the drive for it and it is not part of my calling in life. That is why many people struggle ceaselessly BECAUSE THEY ARE CHASING THE WRONG DREAM. Don’t fall into that category. Chase the dream God put in your heart and tugs at you even when you want to ignore it. Follow your instincts and be led by something that cannot be easily explained away. I am living my dream and walking my true path now, but it was not so few years back. Never let anyone make you what you are not. This is something I had to remind myself today when I was in a place where someone was trying to mess with me and my reputation. The honest reality of life is that some people are going to dislike you for no particular reason and some people will be jealous of you and speak badly about you to others. Personally, this was an area I struggled with for so many years because I am not a mean-spirited person. I knew everyone could not like me but yet I didn’t like when people didn’t like me for no apparent reason. So today, it was comforting to have one of my quotes from my book, G.O.L.D speak life to me to continue to be myself and not worry about others. Guess what? It worked. By being myself, I made new friends, gained some new business collaboration and also received a lot of compliments about the way I looked and spoke, so that was a huge win for me as an Image and Communications Consultant. Keep being you and doing what you do best. Ignore all the haters because there will be many along the way on your journey to greatness. Just keep shining and smiling.
