@tweegeemee is a twitter bot that is gradually breeding new generative images.
Roger Allen wanted to experiment with image generation via evolving genetic algorithms. But a genetic algorithm needs a way to measure fitness, so it can tell which creatures are successful and will be allowed to breed the next generation. So he decided to use Twitter retweets and favorites to judge image popularity.
The library is open source, so you can play with it yourself if you want to make your own version, or just generate a desktop-sized version of your favorite image.
