HI HELLO, I PRESENT ANOTHER OUTTA THE BLUE UPDATE. BUT I AM VERY PROUD OF IT AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!
Chapter Summary:
Chloe thinks about how she woke up before Lucifer that morning. How human he was, sitting low in a plastic chair, long legs splayed out, chin tucked against his chest, shifting only with the rise and fall of even breaths. How it took her mind a moment to remember that the previous night did in fact happen, that it would only take a single choice to see a universe dozing at her bedside, a universe that stayed.
And he’s still staying, eyes squinting in the midday sun, stretching his back and scratching at his beard while following the errant flight paths of cottonwood seeds overhead. Spring must be here.
