OOO THE ANGST LET’S GO
The world felt gray and silent.
All Y/N could do was sit on the front steps,
Feeling the rain brush against and around them,
Wishing they could go back in time.
They closed their eyes,
Head turning to the sky,
Letting the tears fall once again that day.
It had only been a few hours, but it felt like years.
Decades.
It was too surreal yet too painful,
All at the same time.
It was too much and too little,
All at once.
Agony.
It was agony.
Y/N opened their eyes and looked forward,
But their gut churned spotting the blood on the concrete,
Slowly washing away with the rain.
They groaned and looked away,
Eyes squeezing shut.
As they turned, they spotted shoes behind them,
Silently standing near the front doors.
“Holding up?”
It was Louis.
Y/N closed their eyes again in defeat
As if they hadn’t cried enough that day,
Louis arriving to join them in their pity made it even harder.
“I can’t believe it,” Y/N said,
Not bothering to answer his original question.
Louis sat beside them,
Staring off through the gaps in the front gate.
They sat in silence,
Contemplating the last 24 hours.
So much had happened.
So much had died.
Their joy, their leader,
The idea that they were safe within Ericson’s walls,
And Marlon.
Y/N closed their eyes, letting the tears run free,
They sobbed as they took shaky breaths in.
Louis wrapped his arm around their shoulders,
Pulling them close.
“You’re drenched,” Louis said, his voice dripping with sorrow.
Y/N genuinely hadn’t noticed.
They felt numb all over.
Louis took his jacket off, laying it against their shoulders.
Y/N shivered at the contact.
Louis always made them feel warm with his presence.
It was the first time they felt a sensation other than devastation in the last 3 hours.
Louis stood to leave, but Y/N reached out,
Grabbing his hand,
And squeezing before he could even turn away.
“Stay.” They said softly.
Their eyes were wide and desperate,
Locked onto his,
Pleading with them to stay by their side.
Louis' heart ached even deeper.
He couldn’t leave them alone.
Not like this.
Not after all of this.
As he began to slink down, Y/N gripped the fabric of his shirt,
Squeezing, ensuring he was as close as possible.
“You know I can’t say no to you.” He said softly,
Wrapping his arm tightly around their shoulders,
Keeping them close and warm.
They were all they had now.
Each other.
After a lifetime of nostalgia and memories,
Marlon was gone.
From 3 to 2.
How were they supposed to go on?
Y/N sobbed, and Louis guided their head to his shoulder,
Resting his cheek on top of their head.
“I know,” he hushed.
Y/N grabbed Louis’ hand with one hand,
Needing to remember he was real.
Without thinking, Louis laced his fingers with theirs.
It felt so natural.
He had wanted to do it for so long,
For years,
But never had the courage.
And now, it was the least of his concerns,
And it felt the most right.
“Please,” Y/N begged through sobs,
Their knuckles whitening as they gripped Louis’ shirt.
“Please don’t leave me too.” They whispered.
Louis set his lips against the crown of their forehead,

summary: james angst (the best angst is surprise angst)(spoilers to newest episode)
a/n: when i saw this i got excited because i love doing angst requests. i hope you like it!!
* when you met james you’d been at your lowest
* all the burdens you carried on your shoulders made it hard to go on anymore
* your hands were covered in so much blood from all the people you had killed to survive this long
* and for what? you did not even really want to live anymore as all this guilt enshrouded you
* you were exhausted of fighting
* but then you met james
* he had saved you from a surrounding horde that you had subconsciously thrown yourself into
* honestly? you hadn’t even known he hadn’t been a walker until he covered your mouth and whispered to you to follow him
* you had actually been hoping in the back of your mind that he’d actually been a walker and that you would get unlucky and get bitten instead
* but regardless, without thinking, you followed james as he lead you to safety.
* there wasn’t many words exchanged between the both of you at first when he allowed you to stay at his camp for the night— he was awkward around people, and you didn’t feel like talking
* but eventually he questioned you on how you’d gotten yourself in your previous predicament
* you confessed that you had not wanted to fight anymore
* that you were exhausted of all the bloodshed and the endless tragedy of this world
* and you had been looking for an escape
* james sees a version of himself when he first became aware of who he had become— you were lost
* scared
* you didn’t want to be a monster
* you wanted peace
* he wanted to help you so he shares his beliefs to you
* at first you had been a little skeptical
* was pacifism like that even possible?
* was there really more to walkers?
* it really made you think
* but as you had began to travel with him and see it all it practice?
* you soon began to believe in his ideologies
* they have you hope
* no
* james was what gave you hope
* so then fast forward a year or more and james decides to help clementine rescue her friends from the clutches of lily and her company
* you were still skeptical and conflicted
* the whole rescue mission seemed too..
* dangerous
* you didn’t want any of your walkers to get hurt (there was still people inside of them!) and you didn’t want to fight with other survivors
* you did not have good feeling brewing within your stomach, but james promised you everything would be ok
* the two of you were doing a good thing by helping them
* even it meant the horrible sacrifice of some of the walkers you had been protecting within the barn
* he also mentioned that the two of you would not have to participate in their fighting— you only had to help clementine guide the horde
* so you believed in him like you always did
* ..but maybe you should have challenged his words
* the two of were separated during the mission
* when the boat had exploded you fled to the entrance of a nearby cave
* you and james had promised each other to meet there after all of this chaos ended
* you hoped he was safe
* you didn’t know what you’d do without him
* he had become your reason to want to survive
* james has saved you from yourself
* you loved him
* you loved him much
* you wanted to tell him that after all of this was finished
* someone’s voice brought you out of your thoughts
* it was clementine
* who had aj and tenn following behind her
* and a LOT of walkers trailing the three of them
* the first thing that left your mouth was, ‘have you seen james?’
* she had expected such a question
* there was a distant look in her brown eyes for a moment and a frown tugged on her lips
* ‘we can talk about this later— first we need to get out of here!’
* you didn’t like that answer but merely nodded your head in agreement
* you all were quickly becoming surrounded by the undead
* clementine suggested finding refuge within the cave while tenn expressed his uncertainty in the idea
* ‘we don’t know where it leads’
* ‘well we do know there are walkers in the other direction’
* ‘but—‘
* ‘move it, dummy!’
* aj ran past all of you and squeezed through the small entrance of the cave
* the rest of you followed behind him
* the cave was dark
* you could hardly see anything within the darkness
* clementine asked you to guard the entrance as she tried to figure something out and you complied
* despite your initial hesitance to trust clementine, you knew she was smart
* if anyone could find an answer to their problems it was clementine
* so you silently kept watch at the entrance of the cave
* but your thoughts wandered to james again
* where was he? was he safe? was he worrying about you too?
* you anxiously bit at your nails
* you just needed to see him again..
* ‘we just need to go across one by one, and then we’ll move the rocks out of the way and then i’ll take—‘
* you turned to see tenn being grabbed by a walker.
* the youngest of the group was the one quickest to react, throwing a rock at the walker and then rushing forward to pull tenn from the grasp of the undead
* the two children tumbled to the ground as the walker let go of tenn
* and that’s when you saw him
* james
* your eyes widened
* your mouth fell open
* there he was..
* but..
* he was turned
* something within you broke in that moment, but you didn’t care
* you stepped forward, towards him
* he was still inside there and you knew it
* that’s what you believed
* a big smile spread across your face
* you heard the others calling your name in concern as you opened out your arms to james
* ‘it’s ok! he’s still inside! he would never hurt me!”
* you explained through your tears of joy and grief
* ‘i missed you so much’
* ‘i was so scared you wouldn’t come back to me’
* ‘james’ stumbled into your arms but instead of returning your embrace he sank his teeth into your neck
* you let out a gurgled scream of pain but held onto james tightly as he began to devour you
* the others had fled during your ‘distraction’
* they knew you were a lost cause
* you chose your fate
* ‘i love you so much’
* you whispered those words to ‘james’ as tears ran down your bloodied cheeks
* you were so happy you finally got to tell him that as your world faded into darkness
Hello, lovely!! I wanted to say I love your writings esp since I have the same awesome taste, Javi ♡ (+ Luke!)
If I could request I'd really love Javier (and whoever else you'd like :)) with a kind reader capable enough in the apocalypse, they just get shy and blush easily around their crush :P
I think you have a post like it for S4 but I'm not sure for the others, and please do ignore if you're not accepting or anything!!
just for you, here are some extra long Javi and Luke blurbs for you, friend 💛💛
because they’re gonna be long, click the cut to read ‘em :)
Javier: Javier smiled to himself, watching Y/N as they entered the Richmond gates. “Welcome back,” he said, setting down the tools he was holding. He was helping chop and arrange firewood with some newer survivors, but abandoned it quickly when Y/N walked in. All Y/N could do was smile, nervously rubbing at one of their arms. “Thanks,” they said softly. Why was it always so hard for them to speak when Javi was nearby? “How did collecting go?” Javi asked. Y/N was so busy planning what they would say next that they almost completely missed his question. “Oh, good!” Y/N responded after a beat of delay, processing his question. “Lots of firewood was collected. We even managed to find a squirrel.” Javi whistled, impressed. “Sounds like we’ll be eating like kings tonight then, huh?” He turned, his hands on his hips, smirking Y/N’s way. They could feel their knees go weak, but cleared their throat as a means of composing themselves. “Can I help you unpack?” Javi asked, he was fiddling with the bottom of his shirt - something he rarely did - as he spoke. His eyes drifted down Richmond’s dirt, man-made road as he awaited their response. With rosy cheeks and a beaming smile, Y/N nodded. Realizing he wasn’t looking at them, they became even more flustered. “Yes! Please. I’d really appreciate that.” God they were a mess. They just didn’t know that Javi found it adorable. They spent the rest of their day in the kitchen taking stock, and near the firepit, chatting, organizing firewood, and getting ready to cook dinner together.
Luke: Luke smiled as Y/N started toward the cabin, two large bags of wood in their arms. One was hanging off their back, the other they were holding with both arms, as if to balance them out. By the time they got in through the front doors, they dropped the bags off and sighed. “Tired?” Luke asked, leaning against a railing at the top of the stairs. Y/N almost jumped out of their skin - a hand to their chest - taking a deep breath. “I thought you would be sleeping,” Y/N said, scurrying up the stairs to be closer to him. Their heart was racing; now for more than one reason. “I couldn’t sleep.” Luke said passively, smirking their way. It made Y/N almost collapse. “Decided I’d wait until you came back from foraging.” Y/N practically short-circuited. “W-Waiting? For me?” Luke raised a brow, confused by their sudden stumbling. They were normally so well put-together. “Why?” They started fiddling with their fingers - something they did whenever they were nervous - and Luke knew. Y/N didn't need to explain it. Luke just knew how to read them like a book. “It’s not bad,” he said sweetly with a chuckle, not wanting to put them at ill-ease. “I just wanted to chat. I miss it when we had the same shifts.” Y/N’s cheeks flushed. “Really?” “Yeah, you’re a blast.” Luke said, setting a hand on their shoulder. “I put on some coffee if you want some. Wanna catch up?” Y/N nodded, unable to speak. If they did, they might risk releasing a jumbled slew of embarrassment. “Sure.” They managed to squeak out. When Luke turned his back, Y/N jumped for joy, followed by quickly scurrying after him.
Hihi!! Can I request Ben hcs with a S/O with scars over their arms? Sometimes, even bruises?? Uhhh kinda just like, him either worried for them or in awe of how cool some look : D
OOOOO I do love a cute little one-off. enjoy!!!
“It’s the middle of summer,” Ben mentioned.
Y/N was organizing a fire for the group to cook dinner on.
Then, Ben piped up behind them.
They turned around and raised a brow,
Confused on what he was saying.
“Yeah, it is.”
“Aren’t you hot?” Ben posed.
Y/N immediately tensed up.
He was talking about their jacket.
“Uh, no,” they finally managed out,
Turning back to their firewood,
Wanting to escape the conversation.
“Really?”
“I’m often cold,” they replied quickly, “I often have low blood sugar.”
Ben blinked in surprise.
“Oh, I didn’t know.”
“It’s fine,” Y/N quipped.
Hopefully, this was it and they could drop it.
Given the silence behind them, they assumed that to be true.
After they had finished, Y/N stood,
Turned around,
And spotted Ben approaching them again.
They tensed again, not wanting another lecture,
But Ben extended his hand toward them instead.
It was a granola bar.
Confused, they glanced up at him.
“You said your blood sugar was low,”
Y/N eyes widened and locked on his.
He went out of his way just for them?
“Really?”
Ben blinked, confused.
“Y-Yeah?” He said. “I didn’t want you fainting.”
Y/N smiled softly, heart warm at the idea.
Sweetly, they accepted the gift.
“Thank you for this. Really.”
Ben smiled back, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck,
Before smiling and turning away.
He was so quiet and so reserved,
But still so sweet.
The action weighed on Y/N’s shoulders.
They hadn’t been honest to Ben,
And it was weighing on them that one of their rations was given to them.
Especially because they didn’t need it.
“Ben?” They asked softly.
Ben was sitting in the motel parking lot,
Watching the slow sunset.
“Yeah?” He asked,
Immediately tearing his gaze to Y/N.
“Can I talk to you?”
They fiddled with their fingers, nervous.
“Just for a minute?”
Ben blinked, sliding over on the bench.
“Sure, are you okay?”
Y/N gulped and sat down,
Their fingers wringing through each other.
“I lied to you earlier, they began.
Turning to see him, he looked confused rather than angry.
“I don’t have low blood sugar,” Y/N whispered,
Pulling the untouched granola bar out of their pocket.
“I wear my jacket for another reason.”
Ben stared at them, his confusion melting into worry.
Y/N sighed, then rolled their sleeves up.
It exposed all of their scars and bruises,
All the active wounds and healed ones.
Ben’s breath hitched, his fingers running over their skin.
“Y/N what happened?”
Y/N shook their head. “Nothing major,”
“Did someone do this to you?” He took their arms in his palms,
Voice shaking.
Y/N was shocked Ben seemed this affected by it.
“Who did this?”
His voice lowered and he leaned in,
Wanting to ensure no one else heard what he was about to say.
“Is it someone here?”
“No, no,” Y/N hushed. “Some of them were me. Some of them were,’”
They hesitated,
“Circumstances.”
Ben frowned, then tenderly squeezed their wrists,
Letting them go.
“I’m sorry.” He said quietly. “I’m sorry you’ve gone through so much pain.”
Y/N shook their head.
“It landed me here,” they responded plainly. “I think it was worth it.”
Ben smiled,
Cheeks warm and bright.
He promised himself he would never let anything happen to them again.
Hey! Omg I hate giving requests bc you have a lot, but could we get Louis, Mariana and (parental figure) Luke with a reader who has really sensitive hearing? Like if sounds get too loud, their ears start to bleed? Sorry if this is inappropriate :)
oh MAN this is gonna be a wild one
Louis: Louis had always known Y/N had sensitive hearing. They freaked out when a gun had gone off in the distance, sending them into a panic. They stayed in their room for the rest of the night, their hands clamped over their ears, and tried to act as though nothing happened the following day. No one dared bring it up. But that day, Louis and Y/N were stationed at the watchtower for the night shift. They needed two these days in case either one of them fell asleep. Suddenly, somewhere in the first, it sounded. A high-pitched, wailing sound. It made Y/N cringe and Louis flinch;. “That’s new.” He said softly. “It’s probably another camp trying to warn walkers off.” Y/N clamped their hands over their ears, groaning. At the watchtower, they couldn’t leave. They had nowhere to hide.
“Y/N?” Louis asked, kneeling down. To see them. All Y/N could do was whimper, ether nails digging into the sides of their head. “It hurts,” they hushed. “Hey, it’s okay,” he said quietly, trying to get them to calm down. They removed their hands from the side of their head, their palms stained with crimson. “Y/N, oh my God,” he quickly reached into his pocket, grabbing a cloth and placing it on their hands. He lifted up the edges of their hair, watching as blood trickled out of their ears and down their face. “It happens often,” Y/N groaned. “I just need to wait for the sound to stop.” They said, eyes squeezed shut. Quickly, ripping his cloth into two, he placed one over each of Y/N’s ears, holding them there. Meekly, Y/N placed their hands overtop of his. “It’s okay, I’ll wait with you. Take deep breaths.” He frowned. “It’ll be over soon.”
Mariana: Mariana and Y/N were doing their usual evening ritual: sitting outside one of Richmond’s buildings, staring up at the sky, sipping on whatever sweet drink they could find in the cafeteria area. “What do you think it looked like before? With all the lights in the cities?” Mariana asked. “I forget. I was so little the last time I can’t remember seeing stars.” Y/N shrugged. “I don’t want to be in a world where I can’t see the stars.” Out of nowhere, a screeching sound. Y/N groaned and immediately snapped their hands over their ears, the remainder of their juice box crashing to the dirt, Richmond floor. “Y/N? What happened?” Mariana asked, setting a concerned hand on their shoulder. “Ugh,” was all Y/N could say, gritting their teeth and squeezing their eyes closed. “What is that?” “Y/N?” Mariana said gently. “Where are you hurt?” “My ears!” Y/N begged. They begged the universe to make it stop before they lost too much blood. Finally, the noise faded out and Y/N groaned aggravated, hands slapping down to their lap. “Y/N! You’re bleeding!” Mariana gawked, horrified at the sight of their blood coated hands. “It happens,” Y/N said. “It’s normal. For me, anyways.” Mariana frowned, studying the blood smeared across their palms and dripping down their neck. Mariana held her juice box out. “Here, have the rest of my juice while I tie your hair back.” Y/N meekly accepted the juice box. “Why?” “So I can clean that up.” She said with a sweet smile and shrug, as though it was obvious. “Wait here, I’ll be right back.” Mariana got up and scurried away to get some water and a cloth. Y/N smiled to themselves, glancing at the half-drank box in their hands. Mariana was always so gentle with people and their struggles. It made Y/N trust her even more.
Luke: Luke and Y/N were sitting in the living room of the ski lodge, glancing out the windows, watching as the sun crept up. They were awake, ready to start their respective work shifts of the day, but they had to wait until it was bright enough to see for a distance. Luke sipped away at his coffee while Y/N sat with a warm glass of water between their hands; it warmed them up for the chilly fall morning. From outside, as Kenny was doing a check up on their wind turbine outside. As he was working on tightening screws and oiling latches, the screeching noise bled through the windows and entered the lodge. Y/N flinched, almost spilling their water. “God, that’s annoying.” Luke groaned, setting his cup down. “I can’t wait until we can upgrade to a better system.” Before he could say anything more, a smack bounced off the walls and Luke turned. Y/N was sitting on the couch, curling down into their knees. They had dropped their glass to the floor in lieu of clamping their hands over their ears. He could hear how intense her whimpers were. “It hurts,” they groaned, sitting upright so Luke could hear them. “Ugh, make it stop.” “Y/N?” He wandered closer to them, sitting beside them on the couch. “What’s--” he stopped as he saw red seeping through their fingertips. Concerned, Luke took one of their hands and peeled it away from their face. Blood dripped onto the couch from their ear. “Oh my God, Y/N, what happened?” He set a hand on their shoulder and the other on their lap, trying to get them to explain. “It's normal,” they managed to get out, still squirming out of pain. “I just need the noise to--” Finally, the screeching stopped and Y/N sighed, placing their bloody hand palm-up on their lap. “Stop,” they finished. Finally, they made eye contact with Luke, his expression one of pure concern. “Can you help me?” They asked meekly. Luke nodded, immediately standing. “Wait here.” He returned with new water and a damp cloth that he could use on their head. “Don’t worry, I got you.” He worked gently and tenderly, not wanting to hurt them more than they’d already been hurting.

Hey dudeee! I was wondering if we could get a parental Luke fic where the reader comes out to him as bisexual but he's also bisexual so they're both surprised that the other one is bi. Thank you and I love ur work
WAIT THIS IS SO CUTE AHHH
Luke knew something was bugging Y/N.
He could tell by the way they walked and isolated themselves,
The way they were always lost in thought.
It only ever happened when they were stressed,
Hyper-focusing on something eating at them.
Finally, one evening,
Catching them nervously picking at their shirt and staring out a window,
He approached them and sat down.
It snapped them to reality.
“What’s going on?” He asked, his voice low and his expression sincere.
Y/N immediately scoffed,
A little too quickly,
But continued.
“Nothing. I’m just bored.”
“You know you suck at lying,” He said passively,
Dramatically waving one of his hands.
“So why do you even bother?”
Y/N groaned as Luke pressed on,
Flopping themselves into a seat beside them.
They propped one of their legs up on the arm of their chair,
Luke smirked as he watched how contorted their posture became.
“You know I hate it when you do that.”
“Do what?” Luke asked through a smirk.
“Read me! Like a book.”
Y/N pouted.
“So, I’m right? Something is bugging you?”
Y/N hated him at that moment.
Luke, slowly, began to soften.
“Really though, what’s up?”
Y/N shuffled.
They hated how well Luke knew them.
He could read them like a book.
They groaned,
Luke smirked again.
“It’s dumb.”
“Not if it’s on your mind, it’s not.”
Y/N stared at him
Silently debating their next course of action.
They chewed at the inside of one of their cheeks.
“You better promise to not judge me.”
“Of course,” Luke said, voice tender and genuine.
Finally, after another moment of hesitation,
They spit it out.
If they didn’t think and just spoke,
Maybe it would be easier.
“I think I’m bi.”
The words came out jumbled and crunched together.
Luke’s eyes sparked and his lips parted,
As though he was genuinely shocked.
“No way,” he breathed,
And Y/N cowered into themselves.
“I finally have someone else around here who gets it.”
Y/N froze,
And didn’t move first,
Then slowly relaxed their shoulders and mad eye-contact again.
“What?”
Luke smirked, and suddenly it clicked.
He was too.
“No way.” Y/N scoffed.
Luke chucked to himself and nodded.
“See? I told you you didn’t have anything to worry about.” He assured,
Nudging one of their shoulders teasingly.
“Though, the first giveaway should have been when you sat like that.”
Y/N scoffed and pushed him,
“Hey! You don’t sit much better.”
“Obviously, we’re both like this. But at least I sit less obviously than that.”
