WIP WEDNESDAY
not me posting this when it’s already thursday my time SJKDHFSLDFHJSDF thank you @icekingadam for the tag!!!! here’s a little sum i wrote that’s not yet done teehee i hope you enjoy it!
“Here, Dove.”
Edith looks up from where she’s shoving her things into her purse, just in time to see Nate holding her coat open. She smiles at him softly in instinctive response - both for the gesture and the pet name - before moving to let him help her put it on. The warmth from his hands seeps through the thick fabric, coursing its way throughout her body slowly. Sensually.
It’s overwhelming to say the least, so much so that Edith can barely control the blush creeping up on her when she feels his lingering touch traveling down her arms, to her elbows, and then finally settling on her waist. She tries to swallow the shiver that is prompted by his mere touch alone but when his grip tightens ever so slightly, she knows she hasn’t been successful.
In one smooth motion, Nate tugs at her silently, his fingers firm as he turns her around to face him, pulling her a little closer as he himself takes a step forward. His face hovers dangerously close to hers, and the proximity makes it even harder for Edith to focus on practically anything else other than the intensity swirling in the molten bronze of his eyes. And it certainly doesn’t help one bit that she’s acutely aware of his hands that remain on her still.
“Are you sure I can’t convince you to stay?”
