Hold on, I had an idea. An incomplete idea, but this is as far as I got. I’m keeping it sketchy cause I gotta do my work hfksjd

So, two things: 

One, Clover has a sickness kinda like that Hanahaki thing, except it doesn’t tie in with unrequited love and he just coughs up clovers and jam. It really tires him out though. My friend says clovers are shortlived because of a sickness called “Clover Sickness” and I thought, “Yes...but what if...”

Two, Clover goes to Sparkling Cookie’s bar and lets Sparkling tell him all the stories and gossip he’s heard. It inspires some of his music and Sparkling hears a lot of stuff going around since he’s a bartender. So they get to hang out.
