I don't think dbh's androids are meant to follow those rules at all, actually (whether lazy writing or not idk). The only 'law' they have is to obey their owner at all costs. Which does make me wonder what they would do if their owner told them to kill someone. Go deviant I guess, unless they had no problem killing?
YEAH it definitely seems that way, but like yeah, exactly? LOL. youād think a big tech company would want to cover their ass a lot better than that, so interestingĀ āchoiceā on their part... XD It could be just something they didnāt cover in the game but is supposed to be there, but then you have Connor running around no issue being able to ignore people in danger/dying so its like... I canāt help but think about it lmao. Also the fact him saving people seems to have the humans around him viewing him as moreĀ āhumanā, and Amanda viewing him as displaying deviant traits, so what does that say about the androids generally? They donāt do that? o_O
Markus and Kara certainly donāt defend themselves prior to becoming deviant, and Markus has to break his programming to defend himself against Leo in fact, but again, Carl specifically orders him not to and all he breaks is the order, the game makes such a point of that fact. So curious... does that mean Markus could have if not for Carlās order? WHAT ARE THE RULES HERE. Are therE ANY?!
