Hi you’re such a huge inspiration for me when it comes to drawing fat people. Thank you for all you do🩵🩵🩵 Can I ask how you deal with same face syndrome when it comes to drawing fat people? I have problem that when it comes to drawing fat faces they all look the same😭
bouncing, kicking my feet, running in circles!! thank you!!
i do also feel like i draw faces a bit similar to each other recently😭anyway, mostly I just mix face features i know!
for example you can start with head shape. these 3 i use often
i didnt change face features but they already look a bit distinct, do they? +examples from my art:)
other thing i do - i decide size of face compared to head
usually when person has a lot of fat on their face, eyes/nose/mouth seem smaller! its a tip!
also look is changing depending on whether neck is easily shown or not
examples
these are things besides different eyes, noses, mouth i do to make faces look distinct!! hope it helps

Haha! well, I am bad at tutorials, but here are just some notes?
And here are the references and tutorials I've studied from:
@/ ratiishu has a reference/study sheet they did!
@/ elyninem has tutorials on twitter!
And another tutorial on how to draw the head/eyes/mouth/etc. here by @/Do_Fish_Bite !
This is just a FEW, there are so much more out there, you just got to find the right tutorial for you!
At the end of the day, YOU got to study the show. Study screenshots, study the official reference sheets of characters and keep sketching and studying them until you can officially do it without needing a guide! I've posted this before, but maybe this will help motivate anyone looking at this.
This is my first drawing of Macaque from 2022:
This is a redraw from this year:
I really hope this helps in a way!
The tut!
Uh I kinda forgot I was gonna upload it like this XD IM SORRY
How the HECK DO YOU RENDER HAIR 😭?! AND HOW THE ABSOLUTE F(lip) DO YOU DRAW THE PAPYRI RABSHDBSMSKHDNSKS 😫
You make Swapfell pap look so hot istg- who am I kidding ya make every skeleton hot 😔
Oh it's pretty simple!
I have two techniques, a different tool for each one but I like to combine them for a better result some times.
I like to start with the general silhouette with the default pencil, and choose a gradient of three colors (the darkest one being the base color and the brightest being the highlight).
Then I use the smudge tool or the oil paint brush to give the sensation of hair, pulling a few strands out so it looks more natural and overall following the flow of hair.
Usually I like to add an overlay layer over the highlights to make it pop up.
And that's it! ✨ For skeletons I (kinda) explained that already here but this is how he basically goes:
First is my construction of him, he's basically a rectangle since Papyri are tall lanky skeletons jdjdjdj
Hope this helps! 🧡

Hey!! I love your sculptures, and I’m really curious about your materials and process. Do you use air-dry or oven-bake clay? What do you use to make frills and wing membranes? Those are both things I’ve struggled with a lot when sculpting dragons myself.
Hi!! Thank you so much! 🫶
The clay i use is oven bake polymer clay, bc i need time to carve out the details without worrying about the clay drying out
For the wings, i made the bone structure with wires like so
I rolled out dough and just put it over there! Cut some details and boom
But if the shape of the wings are bit complex (that i'm sure simple clay won't stand still) like this one
I'd still make wires, but i'll put mesh in between them
I recommend using mesh still, because it helped with the shape and made it less brittle. But since my soldering iron is a bit faulty i rarely use them
And for the frills, i just finished everything, i just made a long worm like clay and pinch them lol
Again, sometimes i'll use mesh inside it to help with the shape
Hope it helps! :D i can't explain well because for some reason my brain can't english atm and i think i explain better with videos
Teach me how to draw pls
I'm not very good at tutorials so how about I break down my style instead? Lego, in specific, my human style is a lot more complicated.
