Well, you see, uh... when I want to write a happy ending, I want a REAL happy ending. Not ‘happy for a while’ or ‘happy if you ignore the Doom in the background’ or ‘happy amidst the smoking ruins’.
Which is... not so compatible with Black Sails canon. Or the geo-political situation at the time. Which explains why this series is projected to be so long... We have to resolve quite a lot of world politics to get where we want to go...

bibros do generally tend to be wincest shippers but it's mostly a term used for people who think that the show begins and ends with dean and sam and every other character is useless and should just die already. especially when it comes to cas and female characters.

I back up the OP’s statement! I know ‘it gets better’ is cliched but I really needed to settle into my life. My 20s were hell but I’m enjoying my 30s! You will get to a place where you’re comfortable with yourself - I truly believe it xxx
I hope my 30s are better than my 20s because they’ve been pretty hellish so far and I’m only 22. I’m glad you’re happier now tho <3

hey so this time of year is always awful bc it makes ppl look at their lives and realise they’re not where they want to be so they push that stuff on other ppl bc they think making someone else feel small will make them feel bigger (plus some ppl are just arseholes) and yeah it sucks and i'm sorry and i know saying 'don't listen to them' doesn’t really do much but i hope you know you’re awesome and that their own insignificance isn’t a reflection of your self worth
I mean, we don’t technically celebrate any wintertime holidays in my house at all but they’re still a difficult time because everyone is off from work and school and that means we are forced to be under the same roof together which kind of sucks. but like - I know I’m complaining, but I truly believe my mum’s intent is not malicious in any way and that she just wants what’s best for me. as in she wants better for me. which I get. but she just has a super shitty way of showing that she cares and I fucking hate that.

I read him as early-mid 20s. He was snatched as a young teen, and I believe on the show they state he was impressed for 3 years. The tricky part is we don’t know at what point in Flint’s career he came to the Walrus. He has been with them for several years, long enough to achieve the rank of boatswain, which is a more senior noncommissioned officer. So I’d say a minimum of 3 years, but could even be 7-8, probably working his way from cabin boy through the various jobs and billets.
Yeah, I think his actual age is meant to be mid-20s too, but there's just something about season one Billy that makes me want to refer to him as a kid. Possibly it's just that he doesn't seem hardened like all the other characters.
