But yeah!! This is my first take on saps! I went with a goat inspired look, though I initially wanted to design him to look more like a capricorn. There’s a bunch of concepts i wanted to sneak in here but some were left on the chopping block. Specifically, more details on his clothes and how he’s a mix of both islands.

Small fragile hearts has consumed me ong, like I listen to it daily yet everytime I rewatch 1000 civ I always tear up and cry.

So I actually hc that Turntapp isn’t rly possessive of Saps, and even would’ve been fine with him dating other ppl and the two just being friends (imagine his surprise when Saps chooses him)

SAPARATA HOWEVER-

Guy can get jealous (not all the time, but on certain days) because what do you mean that out of all the people to believe him in this world, this man chose to be by his side despite?? Like dude chill, no one’s taking Tapp away from you lmao

thinking about them literally crawling towards each other. the hardened general, on his hands and knees for this dove, this angel. it’s not even a god but it deserves his worship nonetheless. he blames the wine but really it’s those coal-black eyes, the pale skin blushed from alcohol and reddened by the desert sun that forged him, as if his own territory were making its mark on this being.

thinking about saparata, wanting nothing more than to be on his own, now feeling untethered by the circumstances he’s been thrust in — so he kneels, reaching for the man who’s really the earth, the dirt under his fingernails, the stone under his knees. he grounds himself by grasping those shoulders, an angel hanging onto a cliff, dragging itself to the earth. he lets himself be consumed by it.
