People of any age can have the common and annoying problem of blackheads on their skin. But quite often this issue occurs to the teenagers or the ones in their adolescent years. These annoying blackheads occur when your pores become clogged with extra sebum viz. the oil secreted by the sebaceous glands. The skin glands secrete this oil to keep it supple. Along with this, the dead skin cells also get accumulated in the facial pores and clog them up. Because of this combination of excess sebum, dirt and dead cells a clog develops in the opening of hair follicles. This leads to the formation of tiny black or yellow bumps. They look dark not due to dirt but as a result of oxidization. It takes place when the blocked pores are exposed to the air.

GOLDEN MILK- Drink This Every Night.. You Can Thank Me Later
Used internationally as a staple spice in cuisine, an element of holistic medicine, an offering in religious ceremonies, and even a coloring in cosmetics, turmeric has been providing the world with countless uses and immense health benefits for thousands of years. The spice we refer to as turmeric is actually the dried and ground rhizome of the turmeric root, a plant in the same family as ginger. Native to India and southwest Asia, culinary traditions around the world now use and prize it for its earthy flavor, intense yellow color. (It was once called “Indian Saffron” for this reason.)
This potent spice is packed with anti-inflammatories and anti-oxidants. Turmeric has been proven to fight free radicals, rejuvenate the cells, cleanse the liver, protect the heart, boosts moods and support the brain.
Sound too good to be true? There’s more. It boosts brain function and can possibly help prevent Alzheimer's Disease. Turmeric has been shown to lift levels of norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin. With a stronger cocktail of these neurochemicals, we’re all a little happier.
This multifunctional spice is also used to regulate fat metabolism, alleviate IBS, regulate bile flow, reduce joint pain and bring luster to the skin.
Turmeric is incredibly purifying. As a sure source of anti-fungal, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial extracts, this spice can help you fight infections and boost immunity. Dense in vitamins and minerals this magical spice promotes overall well-being.
If you’ve researched this ancient spice at all, you may have seen that many supplements and recommendations also include black pepper as well. Black pepper contains piperine, which has been shown to dramatically increase the absorption and effects of turmeric.
Personally, when I use this spice for cooking or natural beauty recipes, I make sure to add a little black pepper as well for this reason.
There are a lot of benefits of turmeric.
Curcumin: Turmeric’s Secret Weapon
The benefits attributed to turmeric are often the result of the curcuminoids it contains. The most common curcuminoid is curcumin, which is now available as a supplement and in many remedies.
Curcumin is well-studied for its health benefits. Studies suggest that curcumin halts an enzyme that may be responsible for turning environmental toxins into carcinogens in the body. (This is one reason turmeric has long been a folk remedy for helping protect the body from the affects of smoking or chewing tobacco.)
Curcumin may also improve digestion of fats and sugars and help alleviate inflammation in the digestive system. It is even used in the mouth to help alleviate gum problems!

How To Make Turmeric Paste:
For the paste:
1 cup water (may use extra water as needed)
½ cup organic ground turmeric
1 piece of fresh organic ginger, about the size of ½ of your thumb (grated) or 1 teaspoon organic ground ginger may be used instead (fresh is always best)
1 level tablespoon organic ground cinnamon
2 level teaspoons organic ground black pepper
½ teaspoon organic ground nutmeg
3 teaspoons organic cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil
Instructions
Pour the water, turmeric and ginger into a small pan and bring to a gentle boil. Stir continuously on a medium-low heat until it thickens for approximately 7-8 minutes. If the paste gets too thick, add a small splash of water and continue stirring. Remove from heat and allow to cool to lukewarm temperature. Now add the black pepper, coconut oil, cinnamon and nutmeg. Store the paste in a sterilized glass jar (I use a mason jar). It will keep in the fridge for about 2 weeks.
Golden Milk Recipe:
