     It has been a while since I have decided to post something as you can tell by reading the title above this sentence. There are many various reasons as to why this has happened for the past couple months. Granted I have added my own input by giving very thoughtful comments about Amy Rose that I think need to be known. I have also liked various things. Those mostly consisting of Amy Rose fan art, which is really good by the way. It’s just a shame that I cannot contribute to this. I also wanted to do various other artworks including landscapes and ocs. I really wanted to create these landscapes so I could eventually put characters in them so they could interact and do various interesting things. I also have been very fascinated with creating my very own story ever since I was a child. That and I am also just fascinated with the creative process of making fleshed out characters.

     I am able to take photos on my phone, but it has a very dated camera and I just can’t help but feel antiquate when looking at my photos. I am really looking forward to getting a better phone. On the other hand I do have a drawing tablet. However I barely used it over the summer because I was very busy trying to teach myself the fundamentals on how to draw various things. A lot of this was about human anatomy. I do realize that I could of used my drawing tablet a little bit more, but I was much more accustomed to the traditional method using pencil and paper. A week ago I decided that I was going to learn more about drawing on my tablet. Sadly this learning experience had its potential stripped away when I soon encountered an issue with said tablet. The specific issue with my tablet is a rather curious one simply because I don’t have any clue on how I can actually fix the issue. I will elaborate down below in a separate paragraph after this one just to give the main issue itself some breathing room.

Note that I’ve only owned 4 tablets in my life, and this is one of the 2 cheapest. If you’re looking for an affordable tablet, be sure to look more into it, this is just my experiance. There are hundreds I’m sure.

Turcom. $50 USD at the time I bought it, around $43.99 USD now. 

Note that I did get a dud at first and had to return it, but the second one worked perfectly. These are cheaper tablets so don’t expect everything to work out all the time.

The most astounding attribute the Turcom had was the PEN SENSITIVITY. I could have a very large brush and still manage to make a very small stroke. I loved the work I produced in the time I had it, all my lines felt very smooth.

On that note, it might be better to use it if you’re an more confident artist with more wrist control, it is sensitive sooo.. Any hesitation in a brush stroke shows up in the brush.

Moving on, I’d like to mention the pen weight. Mine came with a battery inside and it made it the heaviest pen in my collection. But I enjoyed the weight personally, you might not. And speaking of the battery, I will note that I NEVER HAD TO CHANGE THE BATTERY IN IT’S LIFE. The battery life lasted up until I broke the thing (I broke it by constantly letting it fall off the table that lead up to a long crack down the side of the pen, which eventually effected it’s responsiveness by double-clicking all the damn time).

The pen came with a nib in it and the stand it came with had 4 back ups and the nib remover as well, which I think is great. And the booklet says the pen has a button at the end that clicks it on and off. It does not. At some point they changed the pen to always be on so you can’t click it, don’t freak out and think it’s broken like I did.

As you might of noticed before, the tablet itself comes with no extra buttons or... anything, just an LED light which acts like any tablet, just lights up when you touch the surface. The surface area itself is 8 in x 5 in which I find to be pretty standard. The cord to plug it in has been universal with all my tablets so far, which helped with it wore out.

I bought this tablet in 2013 and used it through to 2015 when I finally had to switch to something else because I broke it.

This was given to me around 2015 but I’ve never used it. I was told there is an issue with the pen nib & that it needs to be replaced. The tablet itself works when you plug it into laptop. It also features eight buttons on the left side.

Due to the issue of the pen not working this is considered to be sold as broken & for parts only. If you are good at tablets maybe you can get this working or otherwise good with electronics perhaps you can fix it & resell it for more, otherwise maybe you can just strip it for parts since I have no use for it otherwise.
