An increase in the prices of secondary lead was recorded in the Mumbai market today. High demand for the material led to an increase in the prices. However, Petrochem sources confirmed that secondary lead prices will remain neutral in the coming days. On September 12, 2022, secondary lead prices increased from Rs 188/kg to Rs 191 per kg in Mumbai, an increase of Rs 3/kg.

There was a sharp fall in the prices of 22% nickel sulfate  in the Mumbai metal  market today. This indicates poor demand and dull buying conditions. As on September 12, 2022, 22% nickel sulfate prices stood at R.510 per kg, which is Rs 5 per kg lower than the previous price of Rs 515. per kg.

Carbon black grade N550 prices registered a sharp fall in the imported market of Ahmedabad. Weak regional demand coupled with excess supply led to the price fall. Petrochem sources confirmed that carbon black grade N550 would, however, maintain a balanced trend going ahead. On September 12, 2022, carbon black grade N550 imported intact prices in Ahmedabad went down from Rs.127/Kg to Rs.126/Kg, a slip of Rs.1/Kg.

On July 14, 2021 the Mumbai  market saw a sharp rise in Cyclohexane  (imported repack) prices.The price rise indicates a robust regional demand. Today Cyclohexane  (imported repack) prices in Mumbai went up from Rs.183/Kg to Rs.185/Kg, an increase of Rs.2/ Kg.

PVC prices in the international market remain unaffected on September 9, 2022 reflecting no price change from its previous close. PVC prices were assessed in in FE Asia at $900/MT (CFR), in South Korea at $980/MT (CIF), in South East Asia at $930/MT (CFR), in India at $990/MT (CFR), in North-West Europe at Euro 1655/MT (FD) and in US Gulf at USD 800/MT (FAS) respectively.

On September 9, 2022, Petrochem sources reported a fall in NPG prices in the Mumbai market. The current price of NPG (imported intact) in Mumbai went down from Rs.184/Kg to Rs.181/Kg, a fall of Rs.3/Kg.

MIBK prices were quoted lower in theAhmedabad chemical market today. After interacting with market sources, it is confirmed that prices in Ahmedabad fell due to delicate regional demand in the imported market. Current MIBK imported repack prices in Ahmedabad is Rs.129/Kg, a fall of Rs.2/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.131/ Kg.

On September 09, 2022, Petrochem sources reported a fall in DOP prices in the Kolkata chemical market. It is confirmed that prices fell due to delicate regional demand. The current price of DOP is Rs.140/Kg, a fall of Rs.2/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.142/Kg.
