Obscure JRPG talk, huh? Blue Dragon is one I played on the X360, and at the time I played it, it was a huge inspiration to me at a relatively early point in my life. I haven't played a lot of JRPGs, so I'm not sure I'd know about any sort of innovations it presented, but the storyline is still a personal favorite of mine, it still LOOKS really nice, the music's a treat (even the pretty obnoxious boss battle music), and the monster designs are cool. The anime adaptation was a bad idea, though.
blue dragon was actually one of the first games i got for my 360. i didn’t play it much though so i couldn’t tell you how i like it. might have to check it out again someday
