Simplicity 8743. Has pleats and a side zipper at the pocket. Made a straight waistband instead of including the cut. Side pocket zipper was a little tricky, otherwise a pretty simple pattern. Takes lots of fabric. Twirls nicely.

It finally happened! I got to quilt a @tulapink #thebutterflyquilt. It was a real joy to quilt. Its owner is a fantastic Piecer! Really, like next level. This quilt is for her granddaughter and I quilted her name at the bottom of the butterfly. Soooo good. This quilt is on my bucket list....it’s a long, long list.
