The boy is lain upon his face, sand making its way through the gills at his neck. Another wave of water pushes up onto the shore further delivering the merperson on land. And having grown tired of the ocean’s fighting and bullying, they sit up and shake their head of hair like a dog. Ocean blue eyes stare upon the creature before them having never quite seen anything like it before. Tilting his head, large eyes stare back unblinking. “...hm...food...?” It’s highly unlikely. Most mammals aside from humans were inedible for the siren. But of course, that wouldn’t stop him from trying. Webbed fingers reach out to grab at one long floppy ear just curious. 

      Arms out. Body braced. She is prepared.

       ✤ - “You just ate!!” she scolds, tone gentle and playful. “Remember the shaved ice you were all excited about twenty minutes ago? And the cake I got you from the Chagall when we passed it? You can’t mean to tell me you’re still hungry.”

Well, the blue creature didn’t seem to be one of those instantly hostile types. As long as Prompto didn’t do anything to provoke him, he should be fine, right? “Hey, buddy.” he said gently, putting his hands out to show he was friendly, “Is it cool if a take a picture of you?” Not expecting any of sort answer, he laid a hand flat as shining, blue crystals faded into existence and merged together to from a camera. Slowly and carefully, he knelt down to be a bit more level with the other, not raising his camera immediately in case it might accidentally send a bad message.
