It was decided. The show would be called The Pete & Harvey Drive Time Show and would go to air three days a week, starting that next Monday on 3LO ABC Melbourne. As they parted ways for the evening, the pair had no idea what was ahead. That by the end of the year, they'd be very different people. The same person, in fact; a collision of souls into one unstoppable force, which was impossible to untangle.
So you know how I won't shut up about Harvey Killeen and Pete Landry, my OCs who host a drive time radio show in 1980 (and subsequently share a passionate homosexual romance)? (There's also a whole thing where Harvey quit his previous gig as a film actor at the height of the Australian New Wave due to fatphobia and a tumultuous relationship, but getting into how that relates to the plot would take a while to explain).
Well I wanted to share commission I got from @girlvasectomy because it perfectly encapsulates them both, and what I see in my mind's eye. I'm so glad I asked for it and it's so well done.
Now I'm forcing everyone to look at these fictional guys who are currently taking up my every waking thought. *chanting hypnotically* you love them so much, they're now you're favourite OCs, you want to learn everything about Harvey and Pete and their gay love affair.
