Miss Lele, made from Tapu Lele and Mismagius, requested anonymously.
So uh... yeah, this was kind of a nightmare, and here’s why:
Mismagius only has 3 or 4 ... hues? Purple, other purple, yellow, red. So they can have HELLA different shades of each (only 1 shade of red and 2 of yellow [in the eyes] which leaves SO many purple shades).
Tapu Lele has what feels like a thousand. Only really two shades for each color (except, I think, 3 pinks).
So anyway... these ended up having WAY too many colors to be “official” BW style sprites but I didn’t want her beautiful hair to just blend right into her hat.
The second one was actually the first I made... I like the top one better.
This will not deter me from using Lele’s hair in the future.
Roserade with Bouffalant’s afro, as requested anonymously.
I decided that the muted palette of shiny Roserade worked a bit better but I can redo it with regular Roserade if you want. The first one is just PLOP the afro on Roserade and get their hand in front of the hair and kaboom. The second is Bouffalant colors. The third is obviously Roserade’s purple flower as the hair color, with the original Bouffalant horn colors. The final is the purple hair and using the grey flower for the horns and the yellow hands and necklacey thing on Roserade for the gold horn bands.
I have just noticed that the Bouffalant color one looks kinda Lopunny-esque.
Super Sentai Pocket Monsters. Ledian and Helioptile with some Bisharp modifications.
Below, you’ll see two recolor experiments with a) pattern consistency (i.e. the top head color on Ledian --> top head color on Helioptile) and b) Primary (imo) swapped for primary, secondary for secondary, et cetera. To the right you’ll see something I discovered on the primary swap, which is that Ledian’s color palette is nearly identical to shiny Helioptile (same red, gray and white, just a different yellow).
