the space they've quickly chosen to hide in would normally send her claustrophobia into overdrive it's so small --- but the need to immediately disappear from sight meant they hadn't been left with many options, least of all spacious ones. now adequitly hidden, all there was to do was keep an eye out and wait for the all - clear ---- a routine she's done plenty of times before. ( though not often with someone else; and not in a space so small they're practically breathing the same air. )

what she doesn't expect is just how distracting his closeness becomes ----- a physical reminder of just how limited the space they're sharing is; especially with every exhale of his breath blooming warm on the back of her neck. "vhaal?" she shifts slightly, an attempt to refocus on keeping watch and not how her attention is focusing more and more on his breathing ( and where it continues to land ). but most of all, she doesn't want him to know.

but when he hums in her ear, his voice full of amusement, it becomes obvious that she's failed that particular task.

"oh?" her head cants to the side, a finger dragging idly along the side of her neck ------ the one that moments earlier had felt just a little warmer than the rest of her while he eyes struggle continue to keep watch. "what makes you think i'd deny you having a nibble when you felt like one?"
