Bright CAS Fix (without using the DXVK fix)... or at least workaround
So, as some of you noticed, with TS2 on the newer graphic cards, this “Bright CAS” glitch occurs on some custom hair or clothing meshes. In-game they are all fine, but in CAS they look this weird. BTW, I’ve got this set of hair conversion(s) here.
I created a thread over at the MTS Help forum to see whether someone knows a fix for this... but since it only affects A FEW meshes and not all of them, I went to investigate further. I went to compare EA’s meshes with the custom ones which had this issue.
I saw that this mesh does not have a line “HasTangentArray:” in the comments section of its blend groups. So, what I did was the following:
I added the one extra line “HasTangentArray:” into the comments of each blend group and exported as a new mesh file.
Then I replaced the current mesh with this fixed one in SimPE, cleared the cache files, etc. and when I loaded the game... I noticed that it was all fine now! No weird CAS lighting at all. :3
So, if anyone’s also experiencing weird lighting issues on custom hairs or clothing meshes in CAS, you could try this workaround!
Sims pinching food in restaurants
Arggggghhhh! Florence just stole Checo’s plate at the restaurant. It’s not even the first time.
Is there a mod to prevent this from happening?

I see an anon asking around about the Super Duper Hug Bug. Chris Hatch claims that his Lot Cleaner will remove (as in remove, NOT as in just-hide-it-and-keep-casually-spreading-it) the bug from any lot it is used on.
Lot Cleaner In case you need to be a member to see the one above (adult site), here’s an alternate source More info, especially here, here, here, and here (that’s all of Chris Hatch’s replies).
weird bug i’m having - leftovers are broken SPECIFICALLY for strangetown, i tested it on my other neighborhood and they work just fine
I’m trying to figure out if it’s because of the lots I replaced or if it’s something wrong with the genetically correct template I downloaded. It’s not gamebreaking anymore since I know it’s contained in this neighborhood only, but damn does it piss me off because I rely on leftovers for pregnant sims 😭 I took out every single thing in my downloads folder trying to fix it yesterday, repaired the game (and had to refix my graphics rules), and it’s still bugged.
