Prolific modder DamonDamore (aka whiteleadpipecollection on their website) has so many cool hacks and cc, inspired a lot by TS2 and Animal Crossing. They are a really nice person too!

I just recently made a grocery store with their TS2 to TS1 produce display.

It's so cool, you can click to change the type of produce it displays rather than having to deal with like 8 different options clogging up your UI.

Also in my grocery store, bakery displays!! Same modder, same Sims 2 inspo.

In the same plaza that I built the grocery store, I also made a Japanese steakhouse/sushi bar using their Asian fast casual eatery hack. You plop down the stall in your locations (sans Vacation area, unfortunately I tested it and it does not appear there) and a chef will continually put out cute and realistic Japanese dishes on the countertops for your simmies to pick up and eat. They are charged when they pick up the dish and eat it!

This creator also has a "witchy" and regular "normal" (well, for Simmies in the western world) cuisine. I haven't tried them yet but if they work anything like the Asian one, I'm sure they are delightful.

Now, onto more interesting and even more exciting hacks by Damon....

Have you ever been really fckin frustrated that your Sims wash their stupid dishes in the bathroom even if they're 2 steps away from their kitchen sink? Do you wish Sims 1 had a "no washing your dishes where you angry-poop" mod the way Sims 4 does? Well, finally it does!. Stick the painting in your kitchen, and it even has an Invisible mode so you don't have to worry about it matching your decor.

What's that? You're also tired of your dumbass Sims taking their breakfast and dining out on the back patio in their pajamas? Interestingly enough, there is also a similar painting for forcing Sims to dine in their dining rooms/kitchens like normal non-defective people. Imagine that!

Yet another painting of extreme usefulness: the "Get a Job" painting that allows you to choose exactly which Maxis career you want your sim to get, making it less of a gamble and better for storybuilding. Now, I love the fun of seeing what career the newspaper will pick for my sims, but sometimes enough is enough. This solves that entirely. Just pick a job and delete the painting when you're done.

Last, but certainly not least: the ACNF "sweets" set. I don't even feel like I need to write much, just look at how CUTE these are!

Madoria's World has the most amazing Maxis Match content for kitchens. I especially love their Barcelona kitchen set. (there are WAY more Maxis Match sets in that link btw!)

Also, I believe these flowers were also made by Madoria but I swear I put them in every save. They are gorgeous and don't require watering!

Also, any TSO nerds can tell you that there were SO MANY great objects in TSO that belong in TS1. Here is a link to download whichever objects your heart desires. There are lots! This pic doesn't even do it justice.

On the topic of TSO, who didn't love their skins? It was so unfair they weren't included with the Complete Collection of TS1 by default, but there you go. This archive has almost all of them in one neat collection. Awesome!

Okay, but what about the children. Think about the children! Here are some toys. I haven't tested them yet but they look promising. The kids really don't have enough unique toys after all.

Gaia's Garden by BoudoirBlanc... the veggies are deco but it really adds a touch of realism to your vegetable garden, plus some much needed points to the room score (which we all know is dreadful by default)

Essentials 1 by Kate at Parsimonious. I use the objects in this set in just about every build of mine, they are EXCELLENT.

Essentials 2 by Kate at Parsimonious... one of the best sets of clutter cc out there.

Wine and spirits by Sandy at AroundTheSims. These are awesome because they raise your sim's fun a significant amount while only lowering their bladder slightly. Of course, this is an adults only set but there is also a soda set in the same section of the website.

A working, functional manicure table by Sim a Little Dream... so cool and available for community lots as well. Really great for having a little salon downtown or wherever! It requires Makin' Magic. Click the Sims 1 section to access the download.

Two essentials by Simlogical to make your game a little more realistic and a lot more bearable. Sick of that gross accordion guy with the monkey wandering around your lot being an annoying POS and even blocking cars from moving by standing in the road? You need the No Buskers sign. It also gets rid of the saxophone guy and the stupid guitar guy from downtown lots.

Also, if you are SICK of children showing up in the nightclubs or restaurants you built in Old Town, guess what? Simlogical made a sign for that too. Begone, babies!

Also on Simlogical, there are tons of essentials but some of my favorite, most practical are the fireproof fireplaces. I mean how often do people's fireplaces catch flame irl? Virtually never. Now you never have to worry about accidentally placing a rug too close to the fire. Simlogical did all the default fireplaces in the game but tons of people have cloned and remade fireproof fireplaces with the Simlogical bases.

Art by BoudoirBlanc... I love their animal prints and contemporary paintings, they work super well in the game!

From Monday to Sunday: a days of the week mod by Flame7. This hack is AMAZING. All you have to do is plop down the cute little painting (it's the same as the regular one, check the descriptions to figure out which one you place) and it gives your sims a working weekday. It gives your sims days off based on their jobs, so no more getting fired for not showing up to work on a Sunday. It also has the ability to cancel paper deliveries and restart them as you like. Excellent mod, adds so much more sanity to playing.

Also by Flame7, a companion mod... do you get sick of not being able to contact people on your days off? Not anymore. This mod enables calling people in the neighborhood when it's the weekend. Because it does get tiring to never see your friends.

This is a child female sim head. If anyone knows where the fck it possibly came from, feel free to let me know. It just showed up in my skins one day after a ton of random downloading. I have no earthly clue which site or repository it came from or what the file name even is.
