The first one being his tone of voice. Janus is trying his best to imitate Logan’s tones and he completely fooled me the first time but you can hear the frustration in his voice. He sounds a lot more forceful than Logan did originally and you can hear his desperation to get his point across, especially on lines such as “having heard a piece of information before does not give you license to ignore it in the future,” “a lack of control and self-esteem are two factors that you all now understand can worsen Thomas’ relationship with intrusive thoughts - - and they have,” and “Leisure is something that Thomas needs more of in his life in order to feel like he has a life, and Patton is essentially suggesting that Thomas isn’t being as good of a person as he’d like him to be if he doesn’t sacrifice his life for others.” On these lines especially, you can hear the intonation of his voice and it does sound slightly off and similar to Janus’ rather than Logan’s.

The second is what he actually says. At the beginning Logan promises to be completely objective and unbiased, however at this point, after the real Logan is removed, Janus is only providing evidence against Patton’s statements. By the last few things he says before he reveals himself, he is actively attacking Patton’s entire ideology and being extremely forceful towards him, which is the ultimate trigger cause of him turning into Lilypadton, and completely contradicts Logan’s initial promise of being unbiased and uninvasive. On top of this, after Logan’s initial introduction earlier in the video, his fact cards mostly just show up on the screen and are not narrated, making it completely optional for the viewer to pay attention to them or not. However, when Janus steps in, he actually speaks out loud and makes Patton, Roman Thomas and the viewer hear him out. Janus knows how dire the situation is and he is making himself heard.

I was so caught up in everything that was happening, I actually had no idea that it was Janus until his theme started playing and he properly revealed himself, however there is one thing that, when I rewatched it, I was practically kicking myself for not picking up on- the idiom Janus uses- “this person is an innocent little lamb.” Not only is this a metaphorical statement that Logan would never use without also using the word “figurative,” it sounds kinda familiar doesn’t it? That’s right- it is the very same phrase Janus used in SVS part 1 at the very beginning of the courtroom scenario- “is Thomas an innocent little lamb?” Kudos to Thomas and the team for adding all these cool little details
