Okay, going to try to do the #trustbitesmonth2026 drawing challenge starting with week 1: Louis, topic Divine. Okay, a few things with the topic divine. One, so... Vampires can summon storms, it's in cannon we se Scott and Apo do it, which means Louis LET HIMSELF BE BURNED. I can only imagine his words were something a little Christian coded, 'They know not what they do,' as he allowed himself to be burned on the pyre. He died for the people of his town because he lived for the people of his town. He'd do anything for them, including die... Which brings me to Two. So references... My first jump was to Mercury/ Hermes because that just felt like the right God to reference for a vampire... But then the sacrificial lamb moment had me looking at some old Renaissance images of Jesus... Which led to a very scantily clad Louis... The theme is there, but the clothes aren't... Apparently divinity likes bare chests.
